Lou's Dirty Dozen

Rate this book
Lou's Dirty Dozen was inspired by the life of Lulu J. Crandall, the author's grandmother who was a widow raising 12 children in 1929. The story depicts the struggles and achievments of a Godly woman, a woman of uncommon gifts and ingenuity. With perseverence, and innate intelligence, strength, humor and above all, faith -- Louise raises her family against all odds. Lou's Dirty Dozen is a journey few women have made, but every mother can identify with. With laughter, cheers and tears you will applaude this remarkable story about a remarkable woman. 6.14 x 9.21 trade soft cover - 384 pages

Got halfway through and just gave up. Lots of heartwarming stories and comical events but could get no real plot. I am halfway through the and narrator is only in 7th grade! And she lives to be 90! And you’re telling me that the mama dies in 4 years?! Ugh.
