I met this author and bought this book, his 3rd novel, at the Amelia Island book festival earlier this year. The author served 45 years in law enforcement prior to his debut in the literary world. This by far is the best book I picked up at the book festival of those I've completed reading. It is also a first class production, showing virtually no warts that occur when authors do everything themselves. Credit must go to the author's wife who doubles as Bruce Thomason's editor.

A well written detective story dealing with murders, crooked politicians, and the good work of dedicated police officers. Won this in a Giveaway.

The author of this story came to my book club to discuss the writing experience of his novels. What I thoroughly enjoyed was the story did not take a cliche path. After the initial storyline was set, the author did a deeper exploration of one of the "bad guys." The character development was excellent and I liked how well the dialogue flowed. Great book.

Another from the Amelia Island Book Festival. Pretty good read from a former chief of police. Good stuff on how the cops do their thing!
