This is one audacious book. In fact, Miller makes the case that education is in such crisis that the only appropriate response is to swing for the fences. Somehow it is personal, global, nuanced, outrageous, and perfectly logical. It is a book for the ages, and it presents the first way out of our current circumstances that makes so much sense. It's a must-read.

If you are knowledgeable about education, this book will not provide anything new. Ideas presented are poorly synthesized from other (much better) theorists.
If you want to learn more about education and how to improve education systems, this book does not provide neither an accurate overview nor a useful framework for progress.
As a learning and education expert I think this is one of the worst books I have encountered. While I share the passion of the author in finding new models and also think the education system is broken, his simplistic and shallow views provide ya with nothing useful.

Incredible book for all education leaders to read. Valid points towards needed change and ideas behind how decisions can drive that change.
