SPADEWORK A COLLECTION OF THE NAMELESS DETECTIVE BY BILL PRONZINI AND NARRATED BY NICK SULLIVAN.
I am a newbie to the "NAMELESS DETECTIVE " series even though Bill Pronzini has been around awhile. I fell in love with them when I came across them quite by accident. SPADEWORK is a collection of short stories. Each story ends with a tiny twist to them. Some of the stories are a bit humorous and some deadly serious. The books introduction is done by his wife Marcia Mueller , with narration done by Nick Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan's does a good job with the characters as well. I am looking forward to digging up more of Mr.Prozini's work in the future.
I recieved this audiobook free in exchange for an honest review.

An entertaining read, with some stories better than others -- and an amusing afterword from the author. Some of these stories are conceits, really, intended to have Nameless show off his detective skills. Others are more complete.
