Lily has dreamed of performing on stage since she was a small child, and at the age of eighteen she approaches Jesse, the owner of the local saloon, to ask for a job singing and dancing for his customers. Lily has been secretly in love with Jesse ever since the day he took it upon himself to comfort her when she was in tears one day in town, and that only makes it more painful when he refuses to hire her, telling her that a saloon is no place for a sweet, innocent girl like her.
Determined to convince him to change his mind, Lily returns the next day. Within moments of stepping through the doors of Jesse’s establishment, however, she finds herself pulled over his knee for a good, hard spanking followed by an embarrassing scolding and a stern warning never to set foot in the saloon again.
Though Jesse tells her to forget about both him and the saloon and find herself a proper, respectable husband, he cannot keep Lily off his mind, even after she takes his advice to heart and begins courting the town’s self-righteous preacher. The situation comes to a head when Jesse catches the preacher in the midst of a vicious crime against one of the saloon girls.
Terrified for Lily’s safety, Jesse takes matters into his own hands and informs her of his feelings for her. He makes it clear that he considers it his duty to provide her with both the love and attention she craves as well as the firm discipline she has needed for so long. But with her former suitor bent on revenge and trying to run Jesse out of town, can he keep his little Lily safe and keep the saloon in business at the same time?

YOU’LL BE DOING A SONG AND DANCE ALL NIGHT I enjoyed this story with delightful characters and situations. Lily loves to sing and dance and is determined to entertain. She is bold enough to enter the saloon co-owned by Jesse and ask him for a job but instead is escorted out told not to return. After several attempts, he tells her she needs to find a nice man to court and marry. Sometimes, those so-called nice men are actually wolves in sheep clothing and have an evil and dangerous side. “The whole town is learning a lesson about judging a man based on his occupation.” The plot kept me captivated with Lily and her determination and spunky ways and Jesse and his dominance but the protection of Lily. Jesse realizes early on that Lily is craving dominance and a feeling of security that you would have from a loving father. The dialog is entertaining and heartwarming. I love that it has a happily ever after ending. Disclosure: I received an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions, and ratings are my own.
I'm not sure why I thought going into this that it was going to be some shallow spanking porn, but I was pleasantly surprised by how sweet and tender it was. While Lily's parents care for her they are not the most loving people so she has always felt kind of alone and unloved. Jesse sees the beautiful passionate woman that she is though. I wish that we could have gotten a little more detail to flesh the story out some, but overall I was very happy with it. Especially how the author was able to work the domestic discipline and the erotic spankings. I am very hard to please when the two are combined but it was done beautifully here.

You my lady can write a book I enjoy them all and I love how you always a have little bit of everything to make it hard to put down. Once again I fool myself into thinking I would read some now and tomorrow. But I could not do it and I read it all in about 5 hours. I'm sure success will continue to follow you as I will continue to read from your bookshelf. DH from New York City
I have read quite a few books by Amelia Smart and really enjoy how she writes domestic discipline couples. Lily and Jesse's story is just another great example of a DD couple written right. Jesse is firm but fair and Lily wants to be good but also is willing to disobey to help save Jesse's saloon. I just wish the book was longer.
If you're ok with spanking romances then this book is for you. The H and h find happiness in the Wild West as she learns to trust him and he gets to punish her disobedience or wildness with several bouts of spanking.
The story is good although I did grind my teeth a bit at how helpless Lily gets when it comes to her own safety with her douche intended fiancé - the town preacher.
Not really my style but was well written which is something I guess!
I so loved this book and I read it straight through! I just could not put it down until I finished. Lily just pulled at my heart and Jesse, once he acknowledged his feelings, was perfect for her. Their romance blooms and even though the journey has some bumps in the road it was a wonderful ride! Don't miss this! I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.
I really liked this book. It has a good storyline and flows really well and has strong characters. It has speckles of age play which I liked and it is overall just a really good story with a HEA.........Oh and it made me late for work as I couldn't put it down once I started reading it hehe.
This book started off great, but quickly fell apart due to an underdeveloped plot. There's a villain that disappears and everything is very neatly and quickly tied with a bow.
Calling your lover papa? And daddy? While he calls you his little girl? No. Not a turn on. Campy. Predictable. And not fleshed out in the slightest. At least it's short.
