I was lucky enough to be given an ARC of Love, Slave: Sizzle so that I could give my opinion.
This is a lovely compilation of short stories by assorted writers all composed along a similar theme. The principal genre is erotica but even if that isn’t your favoured style there is plenty of other content involved in each tale. The food element is fascinating, how seductive even the simplest of tasks can be depending on the circumstances and the people participating.
I have to say the descriptions in some of the stories where the food is featured heavily made me incredibly hungry! Once I had read the first couple I got into the rhythm of how each was compiled .. set the scene, whether that be food, utensils, venue, etc then the tone would heat up and the steamy parts began .. nothing TOO explicit but enough to tease and keep you reading.
Out of the thirteen featured I think two stood out as my favourites for varying reasons. ‘Blind Taste’ because it built up slowly, drew me in, made me smile and seemed credible. Secondly ‘Just Desserts’ purely for the slight kink factor and the waiter, Jason was so naive it added to the playfulness. I also thought having an Amish girl in a further episode was an intriguing perspective.
Great fun, leisurely read, entertaining and full of ideas no matter what your hearts desire. Nice to have a selection to dip in and out, read one at a time or as a whole .. all sufficiently different so it doesn’t become tiresome. Each one was pleasurable depending on personal preference.

What a great collection of short stories! The main genre is Erotica, with other awesome content crammed in!
It was very hard not to be hungry for food while reading some of the stories. Let’s just say that it might not be a bad idea to have a glass of wine and a box of chocolates, if that’s your preference because I totally would have if I had them.
The stories start out slow and then heat up, but there was never any scenes that became too explicit, which just intrigue you to read more.
So like I said, great collection! Give it a try!
