Zombie Cyborgs

Alex is trying to enjoy a Caribbean vacation with his wife, but bad luck and poor choices are making it difficult. Pregnant with their first child, Emily has become a walking buzzkill of nausea, sunburn and bug bites. Alex was grateful that the unlabeled container of breath mints he found on the airplane, packed such a wallop of drug induced euphoria.

This was a good short story with loads of potential. I hope the Author continues the story at some point. I know I definitely want to read more.

My Thoughts: This was a good short story with loads of potential. The story starts off with a couple taking a vacation to the Caribbean. On the way their they meet a quirky Doctor who informs them about the Island and also invites them to lunch if they desire. Harmless stuff, until it isn't. This story is well

Overall, this is a fast-paced, easy-to-read short about a young couple, a mysterious doctor (and family), and a beach house. So, there is a flavor of Dr. Moreau (and an island, too). There are also zombies infused with tech, which is a fun take.

You will not get loads of character development or backstory as this is a short piece. The action on the island is fun and the author provides a nice ‘gotcha’ at the end.

I enjoyed the writing style and would read more from this author. This has some
