As someone who grew up in northern Canada, busses full of tree planters were a normal sight.

I didn't expect a book on tree planting to engross me so completely the way this book did. The author writes with such creative honesty and eye for details that blew me away.

I read this book in a day. By the end of it I was wondering why my hands weren't covered in dirt.

Give this a read. It's perfect for summer.

This book tells a story that gets at something not a lot of books do. And it tells that story beautifully. It'll change your life, or at least your perspective on it. Amazing. Well done, Derk.
