Stitches in Time by Terrri Dulong is the second book in An Ormond Beach novel series. Isabelle and Haley will be staying with Chloe Radcliffe (she was going to marry Isabelle’s father before he passed away) in Koi House (a beautiful Victorian) owned by Mavis Anne Overby. Isabelle will be working with Yarrow to help start her delivery program for he

Stitches in Time is the second book in Terri DuLong’s Ormond Beach series. I usually read cozy mysteries and not a lot of women’s fiction but am very glad I read this wonderful book. The book is beautifully written, the storyline well plotted, and the characters well developed and relatable. This book can be read as a standalone Ms. DuLong does a wonderful job getting you caught up with all of the characters. This is a great read if you like light reading, a bit of romance, with a tiny hint of p

This is the second book in the Ormond Beach novel series. This book is the story of Isabelle Wainwright who moves to Ormond Beach with her daughter, Haley, after a divorce and the death of her father. When she arrives, Isabelle is very sorry for herself, drinking too much and very mad at her mother who left when Isabelle was fifteen. Over the course of the story each of these things are resolved with good results. The book was a quick easy read.

I really enjoy a quick girlfriend book, the good feelings and sharing of life's problems getting discussed and solved. Throw in family secrets and some romance, knitting, tea & pets, what could be better?
Isabelle is getting divorced, has a 14 year old daughter who may have an eating disorder, is moving to Florida and hasn't seen her mother in a very long time. Many issues become clear and resolved.

I wanted to like these books because of some reviewers' comparisons to Debbie Macomber, but all three of this series fell flat. Yes, I read all three. I did get engaged with some of the characters and the mysteries in the story lines, but the author's liberal bias and left-leaning political agenda was too much to deal with. There was one interesting character whose back story was alluded to, but then never fleshed out, so it was only there as a self-serving preaching of the liberal platform. I f

If you want a book where most of the characters are unbelievably friendly and sugary then this is the book for you. Not a bad read, but I found Chadwick to be overly perfect so almost unbelievable, plus the name was never ever shortened ! I read the first book which I enjoyed more and bought the three because I like series
books because the characters often become dear to you. However after reading the second I’m not sure I’ll get to the third unless I have nothing else to read. ...more

I loved this book. Since her husband left, Isabelle has been in a bad place in her life. But maybe, just maybe, a move to a new town can also mean a new beginning. She relocates to Ormond Beach with her teenage daughter Haley, staying with her friend Chloe. And before she knows it, Isabelle has new friends, a new job, even a new man in her life. Haley is also much happier in her new school. The only problem is Isabelle's relationship with the mother who left her thirty years earlier, when she wa

I'm very much enjoying this series. Lots of focus on mother/daughter relationships in this one.

This was a quick read. It is #2 in a series of books, and I don't think I'll read the rest. It was a typical woman in conflict....goes home......changes life........meets prince charming........happy ending....... pretty much what you expected from the start. She may be an award winning writer and I enjoyed her style and detail....but this book was 'good' at best. Would not recommend. It was .99 or 1.99 and worth all of that.

Stitches in Time by Terri Dulong
Have loved this series and the one prior. Love how the author brings you up to date but doesn't spend 3/4 of the book doing so as other authors.
Love the area, how it's described and know I'd fall right into place with the surroundings and people. It's such an easy going place and atmosphere.
This book starts out with Isabella and her teen daughter are heading to Ormond Beach to live since her careless cigarette back in Atlanta burned the house.

Thank you to NetGalley.com and to the publisher for the ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest review.
A rainy spring Saturday made it an easy decision to curl up with the second book in the Ormand Beach series and read it all from start to finish. You know what you’re going to get when you read a Terri Dulong book – knitters finding love/solving their problems/basically saving the world by the end of the book. There are no major fights, no huge setbacks, no major drama. Just a lot of self i ...more

Stitches in Time is the second book in Ms. Dulong's Ormand Beach series though it can be read as a stand alone book. It's a heartwarming tale of love lost, a new life and love found but most importantly ~ growing and finding one's self after facing life's challenges.

Here is the formula for these books: middle aged woman moves to a new place. About page 60 she meets a gentleman. They hook up, but don't have sex right away. When they do have sex it's good. They marry. Twists in this book are a teenage daughter (no trouble) and an estranged mother (they reconcile). This series is great reading for after 10 p.m.

I have enjoyed all Ms. DuLong's books and Stitches in Time was no different. This story was filled with family, friendship and an opportunity for a second chance.
The characters immediately pulled me in and I quickly found myself caring about them and wanting to know how the story would end. I don't knit or crochet, but I wish I did because it would be fun to make a scarf, as the group did in this novel.

Amazing tale of finding yourself and embracing second chances. This story brings you home to Ormond Beach and the love of friends and family. Forgiveness, Acceptance, friendship, family ties and love are the heart of this beautiful story. Without telling all the surprising twists and details of the story. I was actually surprised a few times during the story which makes for a better reading experience than having read all that from a review. I found out after reading the book there is a book 1 i

I received a copy of this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Stitches in Time is the second book in Terri DuLong's Ormond Beach series. Isabelle is a woman struggling with a lot of changes. She relocates to Ormond Beach FL to start over and hopefully find happiness for herself and her daughter. I was drawn in almost immediately, and found myself laughing, crying, and at times wanting to slap Isabelle. As with all of Ms DuLong's books, the characters are believable, the settings des

This was a great book. Isabelle's divorce is going to be final very soon. She is having a hard time, drinking a bit too much. She has decided to move to Ormond Beach, Florida with her 14 year-old daughter Haley. She's about Haley as she has been bullied at school and has lost a lot of weight. She is also dealing with the recent passing of her beloved father. He raised her when her mother left. Slowly she gets back on her feet. The people are wonderful and the house where she is staying is magica

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review. I knew after reading Terri DuLong's, Patterns of Change that I was going to read everything she wrote from there after. This book picks up where Patterns of Change leaves off except that it follows a new main character. You do not have to have read her first book to read this one since the author does a wonderful job getting you caught up with all of the characters, and there are alot of them. This is Terri`s second book in her Ormond Beach series and it is a great read. The people in the book makes you want to pack your bags and move there. You will love the characters in the book, they are so warm and care about each other. I can`t wait for the next book. I have read Terri`s books since the beginning and love each one. And I think each one gets better if that is possible. The knitting and patterns is a great plus. I know you would enjoy the series if you get it, it is a great read t
