Poets are dreamers by nature, but having three books of my poetry and photographs published over the past five years is more than I ever dared to dream. TRIO is a digital compilation of those books: Poems From the Edge of Spring, When Leaves Fall, and A Dance of Dreams.
If you've been a long time fan, then you won't find anything new here, only the books you already know and love in one place. However, if you're new to my work this is an excellent way to get all three books at a bargain price. (And who doesn't love a bargain?) If you're someone who waited to buy the paperback versions first, you might want to include TRIO to your digital collection so you can always have it handy when you have a few minutes for quiet reflection. It also makes a wonderful gift.
Whatever your reasons, I thank you for your support. Every life needs some poetry in it.
Elise Skidmore is an old soul whose love for prose was ironically rekindled by the digital revolution. A longstanding member of CompuServe's Writers Forum and Administrator of private writers group called SectionSixx, she delights in trading turns of phrase with literary compatriots worldwide.
A New Yorker by birth and by choice, Elise lives on the south shore of Long Island with her husband. While she misses her two grown children, she is quite proud of their success and independence.
Elise is also an Epic eBook Award finalist author for two of her three poetry anthologies, all of which contain her original photography in addition to the vivid tapestry of her words.
And while one may summarize Elise in any number of wonderful descriptors – mother, lover, bleeding-heart vigilante, free-thinker, troubadour, etc. – chief among them must always be writer.
