My Review:

I love the Busy Mamas series of Bible studies. The author wasn't new to me as I have reviewed one of her other studies in the past---so I jumped at the chance to do it again. She knows exactly what we are going through and the challenges we face as moms. She has put together a very short and simple Bible study on 1 Corinthians 13, it should only take about 15 minutes a day for about 30 days. So real short and sweet because our time is valuable.

As invaluable as are families are, we as mothers are a priceless commodity that can NOT be replaced. And God has never undermined that in His reference to us. We are an integral part of the functions of our families and of course our little adults that we are raising. This Bible story is full of in depth learning based on 1 chapter, which in turn is 13 small verses. It is full of encouragement on our journey and it even includes some assignments for our children to get them involved as well. Teaching our children how to read, understand, and learn the Bible should be at the top of our priorities&this author can help us achieve it!

Bible Study for Busy Mamas Thirty Days in 1 Corinthians 13 by Pam Forster an excellent study.

How many times have you used the excuse I just don’t have enough time to get my Bible Study done today or there isn’t enough hours in a day to get my Bible reading done? I think we have all made these excuses at some time or other in our busy lives. This book is for you then, It shows you how you can take just 5 minutes a day and study the Love chapter of the Bible Corinthians 13. This study takes the chapter and breaks it down to easy studies for each day of the month. It gives you things you can also do to study with your children through activities for them if you want to. It is well written and easy to follow and each day’s study is insightful and is easy to do. By the end of the month of studying this chapter you will have a new understanding of what love is and what Paul is teaching us. 5 minutes is all it takes and even the busiest mother, wife or person should be able to accomplish this study.

At the end of the book in the Appendix it gives you ways to continue on to other books or chapters. It also tells you how to make time to study and other hints to be successful at getting into Bible Study.

This book is excellent for busy Mom’s, working Mom’s, families and kid’s to start learning and making time to spend in studying the Bible. This would be a good start for new believers and also small groups. I really like that she shows you how to include the family in the study. The activities each day for the children are excellent and helps you to start your kids young in learning to make time as well as teach them the importance of studying and reading God’s word.

I would recommend this book and think it would be a good gift to give to new Mom’s as well as all women in your busy life.

Most moms are incredibly busy. We barely have time to breath, let alone spend time reading. So the author has designed short little study sessions that are concise, but deep. Each lesson begins with the assignment. The assignment is for the mother and usually takes about 5-10 minutes. But each minute is packed with some serious contemplation and Bible study. The next section is a bit longer, but is for the mother to do with her children. These sections vary in complexity, but can easily be adapted for any age child.

I really enjoyed reading through this. The depth of the study really drew me into the chapter and helped me focus on things I missed just reading it through. I've incorporated several of the assignments for children into our evening worship and the kids loved it. The author has taken a simplistic approach that works well with anyone who has a busy schedule. The appendixes in the back are packed with additional resources and ideas for further study. The author also writes about how to make the time to study more, a truly great resource for those of us in a time crunch. These would make great gifts for that busy mother in your life. The author has several other Bible studies that I look forward to checking out.

I received this book free of charge from BookCrash in exchange for my honest review.
