The Florida Everglades is the top on my son's list as a birding location. I decided to read this book to see what travel in the area would be like. I learned a lot and feel excited about the location for viewing wildlife and possibly doing some snorkeling. Seems like a good travel guide to me. If we go, I'll buy a copy of the newer edition and do some highlighting prior to the trip.

we found some good things to do and some great restaurant recommendations, but mostly, we're just going to relax. No guide book needed for that part. That comes naturally to us.
