I appreciated reading the life lessons learned from parents who have been in the trenches of this disease's battlefield. No one plans to have an addicted child. However this disease is showing up in American communities in epidemic proportions. Parenting is hard enough. These brave parents share their innermost pain, thoughts and fears. They share their failures and triumphs of what did and did not work. Their journey is now wisdom for you the reader who may have just realized that addiction has affected your family. Nothing like listening to someone who has walked your path.
