People call me all sorts of names—bad girl, black sheep, and my all-time favorite...Satan’s bride. I could blame the fact I’m a witch for my behavior, but the truth is I’m infuriating, arrogant, and stab-worthy.

Alex Remington is a hunter and everything I’m not—righteous, honest, caring. We used to have a thing, but that was before he learned I’m a witch and tried to kill m

The Witch and the Hunter come together.

***3.5 Stars***

I just finished a book that I thoroughly enjoyed. It kept my attention from start to finish, made me want to get back to it as soon as possible if real life intruded and I was desperate to know how it would end. To me, these are outstanding reasons why a book stands out from the pack. Reading Karma definitely ticked a lot of boxes in the positive column, but unfortunately at the end, I was left a little disappointed. Not a lot disappointed mi
Gotta love a woman who knows exactly who and what she is. Amanda is a witch, she is also snarky, headstrong, bull-headed and infuriating. To hear her talk, those are her good points, and she wears each description like a badge of honor, and oh yes, do NOT make her mad, you could see her bad side.

Alex, on the other hand, is almost a saint by comparison, or maybe a loyal and trustworthy pet. He also happens to be a Hunter for the FBI in the Paranormal Division, which makes him Amanda’s enemy of so

What a FUN read! I was so excited to read Karma because it's PNR….which is my favorite genre! I haven't gotten to read any in a while! Karma, is the first book in the Drag Me to Hell series and I can honestly say, I cannot wait for the next book! I enjoyed every second of this book!

Amanda Bishop is a snarky, hot, blonde, bombshell of a witch. With a snarky attitude and sense of humor, I couldn't get enough of her! She lives life on the edge, never backing down….looking dan

It's fun, hilariously fabulous yet taste of what you desire in a unusual read ~ Nook Books and More Blog

Just when you think Nadine's writing couldn't get any better, she throws you another! It's HOT!

Amanda is a hilarious witch, with lots of spunk and a serious amount of courage. Sometimes I think she's downright crazy. She's tough as nails considering what she endures.

Then there is Alex. He's a jerk and arrogant but maybe it's because he's a desperate man on a mission. Only time will tell. They

MORE? MORE! @ P.S. I love that book!

I received a copy of the body from the author in exchange for an honest review.
That being said, I love witches so whoop whoop I was excited, plus the author was really nice and understanding!

THE WORLD: So the world in this book is pretty much how we know it. Just add to that witches and witch hunters. Oh and demons and crazy priests and all the voodoo stuff. Yeah, I think it covers it all. I can easily say it is a definitely urban fantasy type of world we al

Loved it, Awesome!! Very intense and mind blowing. Such heartache and tragic at times, but wow it is such a powerful story. You can feel Amanda's pain so deep at times yet her 'bite me' attitude is great. And Alexander Remington can be such a jerk!!!! lol.

I was actually listening to the 4th of July show in Boston on TV and the song Purple Rain was being sung and it gave me chills. Why? Because it seemed such an appropriate song for sections of the book. I was o

I was in the mood for a Paranormal/Urban Fantasy book and when the author offered me a copy I accepted. This book showed me why I love the beautiful and magical urban fantasy world. Anything can happen and that makes the story so unpredictable.

Karma is about Amanda who is a witch, and her ex boyfriend Alex who is a hunter and needs her help. It was pretty obvious that Amanda and Alex didn't part ways peacefully. But he needs and she is the

Amanda Bishop was about to start a new life as a NYU student when her past forced her into another direction – at gunpoint.

Alex Remington is a hunter and Amanda’s former lover until he found out she was a witch. He didn’t take the news well, but when his brother disappeared it was Amanda he turned to for help.

KARMA is a perfectly paced paranormal mystery. Written in first person, we follow Amanda as she and Alex follow leads, pedophiles and the occasional dead body, to find Alex’s brother.

“Paranormal with a twist, 4.5 stars*

Karma by Nadine Nightingale is a paranormal romance. I instantly thought of the CW show Supernatural while I was reading this story. I am a huge Supernatural fan so I loved the book. Karma is about ex lovers getting together to save the heros brother whos gone missing.
Alex and Jesse are partners and are in constant contact. When Jesse goes MIA Alex knows there is only one person who can help him find his brother. Only issue is hes a

Alex and Amanda in a tree,
The way it is:
“Are you going to kill me, Alex?” I said with a charming grin.
“You're a witch. A freaking witch.” ...”I got it; he was angry, stressed and unforgiving. … But what about me? He never told me he was a hunter. Never mentioned his job was to kill my kind.”
“Karma”, first in the 'Drag Me To Hell' series has a lot of similar moments as Alex and Amanda bicker their way through the plot. She's snarky, he's judgmental, and the pair

Quick and funny read

I found this book by pure accident when scrolling through Facebook. A pic of Buffy and Captain America? I needed to hear more. I read the synopsis and it sounded good. I'm always a little iffy about debut authors work because it takes time to master that skill. This book was really good. I enjoyed almost every bit of it. Amanda or Manda is a very unlikeable character. She is just a bitch the entire book, but she's funny. Between her and Alex we are left with some very dislika

Why did I wait so long to read this book?! I seriously am questioning my decision making haha. This is my first book by Nadine Nightingale and she is one hell of an author!

Her words melt into your head and paint the perfect scene.  Alex and "Manda" are both headstrong and constantly at each others throats.  I can feel the unrequited feelings looming in the distance.  I was pulled into this dark paranormal story and lost myself in it.

I feel like it can be read as a standalone but I am chewing my

I was recommend this book and boy I'm glad it was. I really liked this story of a witch, who ends up helping a Hunter find his brother. Amanda Bishop is a witch. And ends up hooking up with Alex who is a hunter. Well when Alex finds out what Amanda is it breaks him a little and he wants nothing to do with her. Time goes by and Amanda makes a living reading tarots cards. until one day Alex comes back his brother Jesse has gone missing and Amanda could be the key to finding him. I'm on to read boo ...more

You have to read this!!!

If you pair a hero, with white knight complex, and heroine, who refuses to be the damsel in distress, what do you get? A gripping action-mystery, with loads of magic, sarcasm and sass! And believe me, you'll love every second of it!

This is the kind of story where you will get nothing done until you get to the bottom of the mystery! One where you'll be so proud for girl power! And one that'll keep you wanting more after you finished reading this.

I honestly can't wait for

I loved Amanda's sassy attitude and quick comebacks. She's a woman who can handle herself. You can feel the tension between the 2, good and bad, the I hate you but I wanna do you vibes. Amanda (Mandy) is one hell of a woman. Mostly I wanted to slap Alex because he's such an a$#hole. I really enjoyed this book. It was different, it's like Supernatural meets Charmed. I loved the sexual tension between Amanda and Alex although I hoped they resolve their differences. If you want to feel a wide range of emotions, give this book a try because it sure would make you love and frustrated you all at once. ...more

Once I started reading I couldn't put the book down . I was hooked on the story. Not a big fan of Alex so I hope he figures out what's right in front of him.

Karma by Nadine Nightingale is the first book in her new PN/UF Drag.Me.To.Hell series. It has a good mix of light and heavy elements and an interesting plot that sucks you in right from the beginning.

Amanda Bishop is fortune teller trying to make enough money to leave her old life behind. She does what she must for things to go her way even if it is not alway seen as good. Amanda is also a witch and when she helps one of her clients, things are set in motion and someon

Karma is the debut novel of author Nadine Nightingale. Protagonist Amanda Bishop is a bad-tempered witch leading a shiftless existence, just trying to make enough money to scrape by before she finally gets to start her life over by enrolling in college in the fall.

Happily, the novel avoided the dreaded first book Info Dump- you know, the one where the author inundates you with detail about their world that reads

This book was awesome! It's a fast paced dialogue driven story about a witch and the hunter who has come to her for help with finding his missing brother. I was a little confused by the flashes at the beginning. It was unexpected. The witch, Amanda Bishop, can "see" certain things. But, after a while, those flashes flowed seamlessly into the story, adding depth and mystery. The hunter, Alex Remington, is gruff and bossy for most of the story, but he's been hurt by Amanda in the past. Amanda, als ...more

This book really took me by surprise. The characters were all extremely developed, the story line was twisty and curvy with surprises thrown at you left and right, and it's a paranormal/urban fantasy that feels so realistic you almost forget there's a witch casting spells everywhere. There's a hint of romance, but it's not a romance story. It's a kickass story told in a kickass way. I suspect that future books in this series will be more romancy though.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and fell i

Amanda Bishop is a witch. The card-carrying, tarot-dealing, aura-reading sort. She's ready to put all of it aside to settle into her new life as a college student, until Alex Remington, Amanda's former flame, and, ironically, a witch hunter, makes her an offer that she can't refuse.

I like to mix things up when I'm reading, so some paranormal romance sounded like just the thing. KARMA by Nadine Nightingale definitely fills the bill, full as it is of witches and hunters and voodoo, oh, my...S

This is the first book in the Drag. Me. To. Hell. Series and I was blown away by how much I freaking loved this book! This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I hope to see many more from her in the future, especially with several more in this series as well. Alex is a witch hunter and Amanda is a witch, in theory they should be enemies but sometimes life just doesn't work that way. Sometimes something deeper can bring people together. This book hooked me from the start, with its hints, mystery, and ability to dive right into the story. There are witches, zombies, and some really evil men that round out what I would call an urban fantasy.

Amanda is a witch who has been surviving by reading cards for people. There’s some mystery around whether or not she’s evil enough to get rid of the bad guys herself, but overall she seems like a morally flexible good guy. She is
