It took us a while to finish this with my kids. It was interesting and they liked it, but sometimes the pages were all over the place, without enough of a flow to the paragraphs that described what was pictured.

While this really is a children's book, it really explains how buildings were built, and gives cross-sections of each. Great for those youngsters that are trying to get into History.
