Here's my review : (This might contain spoilers!)
Found it hard to comprehend that she is a debut author and that too, at such a young age.
'Belief' is so gripping from the first page that you want to keep turning the pages. The story focuses on all the relationships in the family and how one lives without one (instead of with one) - the one between grandfather and his granddaughter the best of all!

I received this book in a giveaway. A lot of thanks to the author.
This book is one gem of a family drama. The characters are relatable and trails along a realistic storyline, soulful and tragic. The book kindles a very nostalgic feeling. A lot to reflect upon life, a series of pretty good poetry and story that lingers on for quite a while; this book should definitely be on one's book shelf. Happy reading.
Great work by the author. Keep it up.

Thanks to the author for a free copy of this book - with a warm note inside.
'Belief' seems like a light read at first but when you finish it, you'll catch yourself wondering about the existential dilemmas of life. Little Emily just steals your heart! The ending leaves you with tears and heartbreak.
P.S. it's too good for a debut novel. :) congratulations, Miss Mitra! ...more

I won this book in goodreads giveaway, when I got it on courier I just flipped the page and kept it in my shelf (I have kept it in my to read shelf for more than 6 months). And then one day when I was just cleaning the shelf, I picked this book and started reading it. Initially I thought why author has given the foreign name in the entire book, but while reading further it was clear in my mind that the character buildup and its name are perfect according to the storyline.

I've just finished the book and I'm speechless. It's quite a simple history, but with very complex characters. It's not an unexpected end, but it's too far from being cliche, so I still don't know either I loved it or hate it for breaking my heart lol
But seriously, it was a great debut for such an young writer. I hope you continue writing and maybe even about the other characters, like Sarah or Mason, which are the best characters in my opinion. I would love to see other histories about them (an ...more
