I knew that Liam and Emma hooked up in Between Lust & Tears. I needed to know if their connection lasted beyond that encounter just as badly as they did. And did it? Heck yeah!!
Liam was the real bad boy. Drugs, booze, women... I saw him as a real risk taker who had a problem saying no or turning away from what could lead him down a dark and deadly path. I had my fingers crossed that Emma could truly tame him and in my opinion she did.
Their connection was pure fire and had me hooked. These two crackled and sizzled. In a word they were explosive. The author sure knows how to write a steamy scene. But they were so much more than that. There was a strange sort of romance in their crudeness and their love found a fan in me.

I honestly did not expect this! Really! I mean..... REALLY?!?!?!.
ok let me just say something in the beginning! This book is UNRATABLE!!!!
These characters will eat you alive. From the heart stopping emotions, to the bouts of jealousy, the rage and audacity at some of the twists and turns that will have you gripping at your hair. This book devoured me. It took me on an emotional high that I was not expecting. The main characters consumed me.

This is the story of a notorious bad-boy drummer & the sassy woman who challenges him in every step. Liam is everything every women wants. He is hot, bossy, caring, sexy and also dirty talking alpha!!! Emma is sassy, a little stubborn and stands her ground when she wants something. There were so many sweet and tender moments. The chemistry between them is beyond hot.

If you are looking for a great book, a great love story, and a great everything; this is the book. Dani René did a wonderful job capturing all the emotions that you only hope to feel when you read the perfect book.

Liam Liam Liam, oh that drummer is a naughty naughty man and I loved every second of it. To learn what he went through earlier in his life pulled at my heart strings for sure but to see the man that he has become is just beautiful. Then we get Emma, the little fire cracker that she is and she's one tough cookie and stands her ground with what she wants. We have a bit of everything in this story, things got intense and I was gasping and then they got steamy. I absolutely love Dani's work and this woman knows how to write a story for sure. It's hard to explain without giving away any spoilers but lemme just say that I just loved it and I have no doubt you will as well.

Oh, what an amazing book to read!! Liam is unapologetic as to who he is but wants to be better for Emma, can he do it? It's gripping and funny and so very sexy. If you want a great read that will keep you riveted and so intrigued as to what is around the corner, than this is for you!!

His manwhore self is back! Yep, Liam in back but he's got trouble, and her name is Emma! Liam is damaged goods and his past could very well destroy what he could have with Emma. Question is, will he open himself up to her and admit to her just how damaged he is. I have to say that I began liking Liam towards the end of the first book, but in this one I fell in love with him. His character is written so well and his backstory is told to us as he opens up to Emma, letting us feel his pain and his shame for the things he's done as well as his torment with dealing with his addiction. You then understand Liam much more that you did in the first book. But it's his new addiction that will leave you a heated mess as you read the steamy scenes between he and Emma.
Emma. Wonderfully written character with the same sass as her sister, Tay. She's perfect for Liam, if he allows her in.
Wonderful story. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Oh how I love when an author writes a series. This one picks up with Liam f*@king Hayes and Tayla’s sister Emma. They spent a wild time together after the performance at Wembley and now it's six months later, as they prepare for their siblings' wedding. Has either forgotten their night of passion? Can they actually spend 5 days alone without ravaging each other? Can Liam come clean with Em? Will the past catch up and destroy them? I absolutely adored this story. Bad boy met his match! Such sweet emotions to be had and the mystery behind our last couple. Loved the story, loved the characters, loved every sassy word that came out of Em's mouth. Thoroughly enjoying this series and cannot wait for book 3! Go on...get one clicking!

Every word in this book just made me fall deeper and deeper in love with this story. Dani really knows how to play with my emotions. The sexual tension between these two is off the charts! Their pain is your pain. It was just so good!
Emma is not afraid to push Liam's buttons and Liam is everything that you want in an alpha male. Not only are the main characters great together, I just love their relationship with other people. Emma's relationship with her sister is one that I love seeing and Liam with his band mates is on point.
I was grinning so much while reading this book. If you haven't read this gem yet then I think you might want to change that. I don't think anyone should go one more day without getting to know Liam Hayes!

I could not wait to read Liam and Emma's story since I meeting them in Between Love & Fire. I love that Dani Rene's books are never predictable. I could not put this book down! Even though there were moments where my heart literally stopped! Liam and Emma's relationship was just so hot! They were so great together and they way they built each other up! It was great to see other characters in this story and the lead up to Kierra and Ryan's story was perfect! I can't wait to read their story!

Because you know, when you finally reading this series you just can't leave it alone and move on.
you just can't!! you will craving for more, and Liam Fuc*ing Hayes is like a dream come true for me!
I'm so excited, and when this book finally in my hand oooh Goddamn it, I just want to read it right away.
Liam is a new addiction for you, think about a drummer, a hot handsome motherfuc*er drummer with alpha male personality in badboy packaging, you just can't handle it.
the feeling is raw and the conflict will ripped your head, but you will love it, since he's Liam after all, did I tell you he's hot?? well, he's totally HOT

HOLY HOTNESS BATMAN! I thought Between Love & Fire was hot, but this story was new levels of HOT! Liam Hayes is the brother of Callum, and the drummer in their world famous band, who gives the saying, Drummers bang all night long, new meaning. No female ever gets past a night or two of banging, until he meets Tayla's sister Emma at their past London venue. They spent a night together that he can't get out of his head for anything. With Callum's wedding about to happen, he has Emma staying with him, but his brother warns him to not touch her. Emma has never gotten past that night they spent together either, so when she shows up in California, she plans to experience it again. She knows that Liam is a manwhore, and it bothers her, as she does have feelings for him, but she'll take the chance for something more. As they stay in close quarters, Liam is trying to not let his brother down, and Emma is teasing him relentlessly. It comes to the point that they can't keep their hands off of each other, and as Liam dreams of more, he's scared his past mistakes will have her running for the hills. Will Emma and Liam finally make the decision to have more than just another amazing hook up?!
Ok, I'm going to start with this, THIS STORY WASN'T LONG ENOUGH! I NEED MORE OF LIAM PLEASE! Now that I got that somewhat out of my system, I'll try to describe the awesome of this story. The character development is great, with the highly entertaining cast of secondaries changing a bit, but no less awesome! The palpable chemistry nearly choked me, and my kindle will never be the same from the sinfully, SCORCHIN' HOT HOT HOT sexy scene goodness that will leave no panties left standing. Another super exciting, highly addictive, HOT rock star story from the very talented writings of Dani Rene! The twists and turns in this story hit new levels of OMG moments that had my heart in my throat! The next story can't come out quickly enough to satisfy my new series craving, so I'm HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING this, (yes I'm saying it again), HOT HOT HOT story to ALL!

Between Lust & Tears is the second installment in the Backstage Series, It could be read as a standalone but i reccomend reading Between Love & Fire first as there are points talked about covered in the first book. And why would you deprive yourself of enjoying All that this series can give you.
Liam and Emma first met when the band was in London, instant chemistry is what they had and they gave themselves for one night, but one night was all it took for the both of them to want more!!
Both Liam and Emma are going through struggles they both want a relationship but can Emma trust Liam not be be the man whore he's shown to be and can Liam trust himself not to hurt Emma and be all he can be for her.
"When did you become so romantic, drummer boy?"
When they come together for Callum and Tayla's wedding the fire is still burning strong. And what we get is a hot, steamy, romantic excitiing read. Dani has given us another rocking hit to add to the Backstage Series and all i can say is that i would recommend both Author and her books a thousand times over not only is she a great author but a beautiful soul who takes the time to interact as much as possible to her fans and i for one appericate that.
So with that said, Bring on the 3rd installment i can't wait for Ryan and Kierra's book where hopefully secrets will be revealed!!!!

When you beta read for Dani Renè you can't help but love all these notorious bad boys,she's throwing your way, But in a sea pool of hotties there is always that one && Liam (Rockstar drummer) is that ONE!
Liam is the poster child of a bad boy alpha male He does what he wants, who he wants && knows he's the wet dream of every woman's fantasy. But there's one woman, Emma && she refuses to be another notch in his bedpost no matter how much she wants him.
Their relationship is a roller coaster of emotions, Emma isn't afraid to call Liam out on his bullshit && I loved that about her, she was tough, took whatever Liam threw at her && upped the anti.
This book gives you everything your heart desires && I can't wait until you the reader gets caught up in the whirlwind that is Liam Hayes (disclaimer note:) You may read about Liam, caress the pages that spew his name but always remember Liam Hayes will always be my #bookboyfriend even though I have to share him with my #sisterwife Kenzie.

By far this has been one of my favourite series from Dani Renè it's also my first Rockstar series I knew life as a rock god was hot, but I didn't expect all the backstory of the emotions that happen backstage, 5 stars across the board for this sexy read.

Dang! Dani Rene is on fire with this series!!!
Between Lust and Tears is book 2 in the Backstage Series. Each book is a standalone novel and you do NOT need to read book one to understand what is happening. Between Lust and Tears is told in alternating first person and total reading time was almost 3 hours.
So book two is about Liam and Emma. Oh Liam! He is the hot brother to Callum and plays the drums for Hunters in Oblivion and Emma is Tayla's sister. Liam and Emma had a moment in book one...it wasn't overly told, so you aren't missing any major details that aren't filled in thoroughly in book two.
Their relationship is just as spicy as Tayla and Callums was and of course there is a healthy dose of drama surrounding this hot couple that will most definitely keep your eyes glued to the pages from front to back.
I am in the middle of this series and totally in love with this crew. I know that the next book is the end and I am almost sad. I don't want it to end. The fact that I am bingeing this series should tell you all you need to know. This is a series that I can see myself reading again and again...
Between Lust and Tears gave me everything I needed, so I am giving it 5 stars! Another WIN for Dani Rene!

So book two is about Liam and Emma. Oh Liam! He is the hot brother to Callum and plays the drums for Hunters in Oblivion and Emma is Tayla's sister. Liam and Emma had a moment in book one...it wasn't overly told, so you aren't missing any major details that aren't filled in thoroughly in book two.
Their relationship is just as spicy as Tayla and Callums was and of course there is a healthy dose of drama surrounding this hot couple that will most definitely keep your eyes glued to the pages from front to back.
I am in the middle of this series and totally in love with this crew. I know that the next book is the end and I am almost sad. I don't want it to end. The fact that I am bingeing this series should tell you all you need to know. This is a series that I can see myself reading again and again...
Between Lust and Tears gave me everything I needed, so I am giving it 5 stars! Another WIN for Dani Rene!

Book two in this series starts off with Tay and Cal's wedding which means Liam and Emma and thrown back together after 6 months since their fling. Emma is Tay's sweet, younger sister who is pretty much in love with the drummer. Liam pushes her away time and time again but she pushes right back. Her and Tay have the same personalities, where they are both sweet and feisty. My favorite part of this book is Liam's nickname for her. It's cute and not something you would normally pick. Honestly this book is better than the first one when you see the drama unfold at the end and it's not what your thinking which Dani always surprises you with.

Dani René has managed to to make me fall in with her books once again. Between Lust and Tears is book 2 in The Backstage series and features Callum's brother Liam and Tayla's sister Emma. The chemistry between these two has been building since book 1 and carries over into this book.
Dani René is one of my favorite authors and if you haven't read her books you are definitely missing out. I absolutely love this series and can't wait for the next book!

I was on the edge of my seat waiting to dive into Liam's book! The broken, badass, filthy mouth bad boys are my thing.
And while I think this whole storyline between Liam and Emma have great potential, I feel like the story was rushed when so much more could've been explored. The main thing that had me turning the page was Alpha Liam in the bedroom!

After reading Between Love & Fire and blown away by the rock world, I had to read Between Lust & Tears because of Liam Hayes and the sassy Emma. I wanted to more about their story and gosh I was blown away by it. Between Lust & Teats was totally energetic and emotional book that set my world ablaze. It struck me to the core and I could not help but fall in love with this book.
Between Lust & Tears was about Liam Hayes and Emma's relationship. I loved this book so much. First of all it captured me from the start. There was just something so endearing and raw about this book. I could not put it down and found myself so swept away by it. Emotional. Heartwarming. Angsty. Between Lust & Tears was an equally amazing book that had honest and love that touched me. I was so moved that my heart was full. It transported me to another place that made my soul ache in the most wonderful way. Between Lust & Tears was hot and had palpable action that got my attention. Dani Rene certainly gave this book such an edge that definitely made me so darn excited.
Liam and Emma have always had a special connection. In this book, it was brought out tenfold. There was so much chemistry between them that made me smile so much. Liam had a damaged past. He was a manwhore and a bad boy. Gosh, he made me so swoon so much but it was the way he was with Emma that just made me fall in love with him. He was protective to her. Emma was just a spitfire. Just like her sister Tayla, she was sassy and fun. I simply liked her carefree attitude.
This series is just getting better and better. I cannot wait to start on Ryan's book. I know that is going to be awesome as well.

6 shinning stars, 6 blazing flames! Dani Rene did it again. Well no actually she didn’t. She did better! Between Lust and Tears wrapped me up and has yet to let go. From the very beginning I knew that I was destined to fall in love with this story. There was no other option for me; I was meant to love this story and the characters. I adore the Backstage Series; these characters bring so much to the table for a reader that it is impossible to not connect with one of them. And for me it was Liam Hayes, I found my connection in Liam Hayes.
Liam Hayes… Liam F***ing Hayes, and yes that is his legal name. What can I say about this bad boy, man whoreish, foul mouthed drummer besides the fact that he is utter perfection wrapped up in a sweetly damaged package. This sexy drummer has some serious issues that he needs to work through to go on with his life, he deals with his persistent demons the best way he can. However that just won’t cut it for Emma. This little spit fire sees through all of his bull and does whatever she can to show him the man that she sees in him. Between Lust and Tears is not just a love story. There is real pain mixed with happiness, bitter sweetness wrapped around two souls destined for each other, two people that fall victim to their own weakness and self-doubt while still working hard to find the light that is in each other.
On top of these two working so hard to find their happiness within themselves as well as each other; their chemistry is off the charts! Liam and Emma are HOT! I can’t even with them; I was left drooling at how intense they are. There is no doubting that they were made for each other in every way. They find a way to balance their blinding passion with tender sweet moments that will just melt you into a puddle. I was swooning throughout the entire story because of Liam Hayes.
I’m not sure I can express how much I loved Between Lust and Tears; it’s my favorite to date by Dani as well as Liam being my favorite Alpha. I want everyone to read this beautiful story about a broken soul finding how to find his peace in the most unlikely place.

Wow - this book just about covers all the “HOT” bases!!! You got your bad boy, super sexy drummer of a Hot Rock band that is a complete emotional time bomb and the girl he can’t get out of his head no matter how hard he tries. Written by an author with an amazing way with words! What more could you want!

Emma, or Peach as Liam calls her, is the girl of his dreams, Literally. He can’t get her out of his head no matter how many groupies he has or dangerous stunts he pulls. I just couldn’t read fast enough to see where those to end up!

Oh Liam...Liam...you sexy beast of a drummer. This book is everything dirty and more. Dani knows what it takes to write a sexy book but with the perfect amount of character and flare. Everything about this book makes me smile.
Emma has always been crazy about Liam ever since they had some fun between the sheets but she knows that Liam doesn't see her that way. Liam's a manwhore. One of the biggest. And he's not afraid for anyone and everyone to know. He likes woman...lots of woman.
But something about Emma has always stuck with him. She's so beautiful and he can't get her soft skin and her "peach" smell out of his mind. He may have feelings for her but that's something that terrifies him. Emma knows she deserves better than what Liam offers her but she can't get him out of her head.
If only he wasn't good looking, a god in the bed, and an amazing musician. But it's more than that he makes her feel things she doesn't want to be feeling.
Liam and Emma are two amazing characters and they go through so much in this book. Between Lust and Tears is an amazing, sexy, and heartbreaking story.
