KELLY THOMPSON has a degree in Sequential Art from The Savannah College of Art & Design. Her love of comics and superheroes have compelled her since she first discovered them as a teenager. Currently living in Portland, Oregon with her boyfriend and the two brilliant cats that run their lives, you can find Kelly all over the Internet where she is generally well liked, except where she's detested.

Kelly has published two novels - THE GIRL WHO WOULD BE KING (2012) and STORYKILLER (2014) and the graphic novel HEART IN A BOX from Dark Horse Comics (2015). She's currently writing ROGUE & GAMBIT, HAWKEYE, and PHASMA for Marvel Comics and GHOSTBUSTERS for IDW. Absolutely shocked at how dreadful this was. The writing in it felt like it was written by someone in middle school, with these low brow poop jokes, the choice to have Gozer speak, much less act like a teenager, and an awkwardly misplaced SpongeBob reference? What could have been an interesting concept turned into a middle schooler's fan fiction that somehow got published.

Ghostbusters in an alternate timeline plot. Unfortunately, that's the best part of it. It starts off with an interesting premise - what if the Ghostbusters did not defeat the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man? Too bad it took off in a direction that's borderline ridiculous and a not-quite-comedic treatment of making Gozer into a whiner.

Raided my sons comic book collection to check this one out. It had some very funny moments and the ending was extremely clever. In all a fun issue.

It's a marshmallow world in Ghostbusters: Deviations! Set in an alternate timeline where the Ghostbusters did not cross streams and explode Stay Puft at the end of Ghostbusters the movie, Deviations is the story of the marshmallow apocalypse. The Ghostbusters are embracing their new moniker, the Ghostlosers, as they fight battle after battle of the mini-marshmallows, which turn out to be sentient poops from adorable Stay Puft. We learn the backstory of Stay Puft, whose final form is not what Gozer intended when he planned the destruction of Earth. He now needs help to take on a less smiley outer appearance, one that reflects his villainous history. The Ghostbusters negotiate converting Dana and Louis back into humans (well...at least centaurs) in exchange for turning Gozer into Loofajoe Rectangleshorts - equally as horrifying. Deviations is a campy, lighthearted what-if comic for fans of the original Ghostbusters and new fans alike!
