The first story was fun and light,enjoy it during the Christmas season. The 2nd story was dark and weird and not good writing at all. It like the needed 3 stories and they stuck this awful story in the middle! I would not recommend this book! I gave the rating for the 2 others stories.

Contemporary Romance: 3 short stories. 3 stars for A Publicist and a Pear Tree. 4 stars for Jingle This! I could not finish King of Orient Are. The story would not keep my attention so I gave up after about 5 pages.

"A Publicist and a Pear Tree" by Holliday. Leah Day is a publicist at M&M Publishing working for a nasty vp of publicity who dumps everything on her and takes the credit. When she meets world known photographer Luke Mitchell, she's attracted by wary. When the boss deliberately sabotages one of their most important authors, Leah saves the day, gets the guy, and the vp job.
"King of Orient Ave." by Naomi Neale. Keely Boston is a personal shopper in NYC trying to keep her business growing. She also has the image of her perfect man. When her friend drags her to see Melchior - a homeless man (who does tell her what to buy for difficult clients), whe meets Duncan, who's crippled from a car accident and runs the homeless shelter. On Christmas Eve after being robbed by Mr. Perfect, she realizes what's important.
"Jingle This" by Stephanie Rowe. Angie Miller is supposed to be writing a Christmas story each day but her lover/boss has just dumped her to take up with her sister and her muse is shot. The other co-owner Kyle, did the same thing a year or two earlier. Now he's trying to get her back on track to save the company. He finally realizes she's pretty good & worth fighting and sacrificing for.
All three stories are mediocre.

In a Publicist and a Pear Tree (my favorite)Leah is trying to get ready for her parents visit and her boss is driving her nuts. The Comeuppance at the end was very satisfying
In King of Orient Are, Keely is a personal shopper determined to find the Perfect gift for her clients with the help of a homeless man named Melichor while avoiding a shelter worker that gets onher last nerve. I had trouble liking Keely so the story did not work that well for me.
Jingle This! A lot of humor here as instead of getting a Tiffany's ring, she is dumped by the boss. And her series of articles about love and diamonds is missing the romance and magic that it needs. And her inspiration is slow in coming. Very amusing.

this book was ok it had three different stories in it i like one basically it was a publicist and a pear tree i though it was cute

This was a book by 3 authors with 3 separate stories. I extremely enjoyed the 1st and 3rd but had difficulty getting through the 2nd one.

This is a compilation of 3 short stories. The first one was cute. The 2nd was confusing and difficult to follow but had a good ending and the 3rd one was pretty good.
