A year on from the events of 'Between Love and Justice' Sarah is settled on a farmstead with Jo, and their friends are a constant support around her. It's peaceful except for some bits of farm equipment that frustrate her. lol.

But Sarah is uneasy. After years of loneliness and only thinking of revenge and living life on the trail - she finally has a home. A woman whom she loves more than life itself and who she can't believe loves her just as fiercely back - and a family in the friends that hav

A great sequel to a fantastic book. If you haven't read the first book, Somewhere Between Love & Justice, crawl out from the rock you've been living under and read it. Then, pick this one and continue the story of Jo and Sarah one year later. Unlike the first book, this one does start out a little slower. Since Sarah has gotten her revenge and is living in bliss with Jo, they couldn't be happier. They have their friends around and a farm that seems to be on the up and up. It isn't until a string ...more

Awesome sequel!

The sequel to Somewhere Between Love and Justice doesn't disappoint! Will these two ever catch a break? Read and find out! More adventure, suspense, vengeance, and of course romance!

I'm a huge fan of S. W. Andersen. I can't wait for her next book!

I cried for both Sarah and Jo after the gunfight. Sarah seemed lost. I actually felt Jo's pain and heartbreak.
The character s are well written. Toward the end I felt like I knew them.

Sharon Stone's got nothin' on Sarah Sawyer!

I read the first story over a year ago, so I worried I would have been lost when I finally got around to reading the sequel. Fortunately, the author's storytelling caught me up without bogging me down with excessive backstory. Over the year, year and a half, I've come to love western stories, and this one fits right in with the new favourite genre of mine.

Sarah Sawyer had traits that reminded me of Sharon Stone from the western "The Quick and the Dead"

OMG! What a way to start a sequel. All's right with the world but there's a little wiggle of doubt in the back of the mind of Sarah & Jessie. Everyone else is happy and moving on but there's so much more to the happy beginning. And then WHAM!
Miss Andersen delivers a wonderful story; deepening the characters and introducing some new ones. A wonderful read and an interesting look into the sometimes solitary life of cowgirls.
Thank you.
It's a recommended read.

Modern-day Calamity Jane

What a great great Western, this book should be made into a movie. It kept me guessing on each chapter. Now I know that I have to follow S.W. and my favorite westerns. Great talent.

My Light, My Jo.

Thanks for the Wonderful Read. Made me feel like I was reading a copy of High Noon. I don’t think that is the right name, but I do remember a beautiful Blond Woman wearing a long leather coat standing against a few gunslingers at noon. Off to my next Adventure.

Highly recommend this book. This one had a different tone than "Somewhere Between Love and Justice", but was still a great read. If you're looking for something different, this series delivers. A female gunslinger, strong women open about their sexuality in the 1890's and plenty of action and romance, not to mention a few twists. I can't get enough of Sarah and Jo and hope there will be more to come.

Great follow-up

Thus was a really good second book in the story. You got to see the characters evolve and then break and evolve again. A very good read!
