A great little book about how to build a pond that will attract dragonflies. It's a how-to book, but it's delightfully written, as if you're sitting with a cup of tea with this British author, and having a pleasant conversation about your common interest in dragonflies.
As a big old nature nerd who had done extensively pond-creation research before reading this book, there wasn't loads that was new in this slim volume, but it was still a good read, and I'd recommend it to people who are making a pond (which you all should! The delight I've gained from having scores of dragonflies and damselflies emerge from my pond just one year after making it is immense!)
While a short book, this is an excellent introduction to setting up a pond for dragonflies. The author’s tone was enjoyable to read, and they balanced information and anecdotes in a charming way.
