“Mum snaps. ‘I brought up all those moody, smelly boys. Constantly trying to clean jizz out of every blanket they ever touched. I’m finally getting my own back with my own pack of girls.’”

This review is based on an ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest opinion.

This series needs to be read together. There were a few parts that I gathered were explained in other books of the series. This was a very funny look at the realities of trying to have children. The other parts just detracted from that.

Porn Money & Wannabe Mummy by Laura Barnard

I am absolutely and utterly blown away by Author Laura Barnard. This series (although all three books can be read as standalones) is just out of this world, amazingly written and has you in absolute stitches.

I just love the dilemmas, drama and out right insane antics of Poppy and Jazz. I have loved every minute of Porn Money and Wannabe Mummy and was absolutely gutted when I finished it.
In this book Poppy is happily married to Rya

Absolutely freaking amazing!

ARC given by the author for an honest review.

OMG! This amazing book by Laura Barnard had me crying with laughter.
The wittiness from the characters is pure genus and works
very well with the story. I absolutely loved the entire story and fell in love
with the characters from the start.

This book is told in alternate POV's from Poppy and her best friend Jazz.
Both girls have their own issues to deal with, Poppy's biological is ticking
and making a bab

This Book is The First Book I Have Read From This Author And I Believe It To Be The 3rd Book In the Series, I Am Definitely Going To Be Reading The Others From This Amazing Series

This Book Is Focused On Poppy And Her Husband Trying For A Baby And Their Group Of Friends, The Circumstances Of Them Trying For A Baby Very Upsetting And Makes You See Even With All The Money In the World You Don't Always Get Everything Easily.

I honestly can't get enough of this series! I just love Poppy and Jazz, and these books just get more and more hilarious as they go on. In fact i now have a huge book hangover from this books and I'm gutted that there is no forth book as I'm dying to see what the future has in store now for them! In fact I'm pretty sure this series could continue following them into middle age and old age as I'm certain the stories they would have to tell would be knicker wettingly funny!

What a fantastic end to a wonderful book series, I have absolutely loved reading each of the books! I should have known not to read this in a quiet public setting because I just couldn't help but laugh out loud throughout the book but I have to say there were also moments of angst too. An absolute must read. I loved the crazy that is Poppy and the other characters in the books are perfect too. I'd totally recommend this book that I just couldn't put down!!

Amazing

Amazing follow up to the previous books, equally as funny as the others, loved the ending and how everything came together. I have read these books before and just as good second time round. Will definitely be reading more off Laura's books

Thank you to Laura Barnard for providing a copy of Porn Money and Wannabe Mummy in return for an honest review.

Porn Money and Wannabe Mummy is the new release from author, Laura Barnard, and the third instalment in The Debt & The Doormat series. I have read a few of Barnard’s earlier books and always find them very entertaining, as such I was very keen to give this new one a try.

The plot is told from a dual point-of-view and can really be split into two main storylines - Poppy's

This book is beyond hilarious. Laura has taken everything funny or disastrous that could ever happen in a group of friends and piled it onto Poppy and her lot. I was hooked from the beginning and often giggling aloud, with the mishaps being so funny I just couldn't remain silent.

I was won over by Poppy in this story. She has the best attitude, and even if she can sometimes come off as a prude, she has genuine care, kindness and love for those around her. She is such a good person, at heart, tha

I am new to Laura’s work and I can honestly say this won’t be the last book I’ll be reading. From the very first page I was laughing. I like to read in bed of a night but unfortunately this was extremely difficult with a sleeping husband and having to suppress my giggles. While reading earlier in the evening, my family thought I had gone crazy staring at my Kindle and constantly chuckling to myself. I’d really like to meet Laura and have a glass of wine and a chat with her. Wh

A few pages into chapter 1 and I find that I have laughed out loud at least three times already! Yes, I LOVE Laura Barnard‘s humour, and her Debt & the Doormat series is the best. The story opens with Christmas day at Poppy’s parents house; it’s a large family get together where her mum, Meryl, is already sloshed at 11am! Poppy’s mum is hilarious – cringeworthy, but hilarious. It’s a great opening from the onset.

The Debt & the Doormat series continues in a fun and natural way

What I love about Laura Barnard is the fact she packs a witty story with such heart felt emotions. She is so capable of writing a story full of messy situations, laughable moments, and yet I find myself tearing up, and then laughing all over again. I love her words. They come across so real and genuine. It is modern and refreshing.

Poppy, sweet Poppy! She is an anxious little thing who has a heart so big she is forced to keep a lot of secrets in this story, while facing her own personal problems

I LOVED this book! It was the perfect tie up to this series that I didn't even know I wanted. I thought, like another reviewer said, that things were left in a good place at the end of the last book but after reading this one - I am so happy the author decided to give us a third book! :)

This is an important year for Jazz and Poppy - both are turning 30. For Jazz this means inheriting her father's porn empire money - 20 million dollars! She is looking forward to getting her 'old life' back which

Gaahhhh. This book. I just can't!
I remember messaging Laura after I finished reading book 2 & telling her I thought it was a mistake that she writes a third book.
Jazz. Poppy. Ollie. Ryan.... What more could we get from these guys. A baby or two? A wedding? Herpes? I actually had no idea where the hell she could go with it.. But she went there and she KICKED ASS!!
Fuck. I was wrong, sooo wrong. This book gives so much closure that I didn't know I needed. There was parts that I thought

I haven't read the other books in the series, so, I'm probably not quite familiar with the characters. But I guess, Porn Money and Wannabe Mummy can also be read as a stand alone.

The book is mostly about two girls, Poppy, who is trying to get pregnant, and Jazz, who turns after she inherits her dad's money. I'm mostly intrigued to know what was going to happen with Poppy as she and her husband try to get pregnant. I think it is a very interesting issue. I know a lot of people who are

This is my first read by Laura Barnard and it was brilliant! Focusing around Poppy and her group of friends and family and the antics of their lives combined.

Poppy and her husband are trying for a baby...a little unsuccessfully and despite the saddening circumstances they face, the laughter at the hands of Poppy and her accident prone ways will have you in kinks. I chuckled frequently at her from scenes to do with apple juice, STD testing, tampons and 'paracetamol' use ;)

Firstly I think I should have read the first couple of books in this series ( The Debt and the Doormat) because then I would have enjoyed it even more as I would have been taken on a Poppy and Jazzy's journey from the very beginning. This way I have a tiny niggle that I have missed out on a few important facts.
Nevertheless, I still think this story is funny, easy and full of humour ( sometimes a bit over the top), it made me chuckle and gasp as I turn page after page.

5* Review

Porn Money and Wannabe Money is one of the funniest books I’ve ever read.

Laura has a knack for drawing you in, getting you invested and BAM – there is a one-liner that makes you snort out loud.

Poppy is the most accident-prone person alive, including me and that’s saying something! She manages to cock everything up in the most spectacular way possible, yet her heart is so big you can’t help bang your head on the desk every time she does it. And believe

This is a really well written story, it is a light hearted funny read which I did enjoy. However, if I'm totally honest I did find it a bit confusing, now this may not be the authors fault it may well be because this is the third instalment in the series and although it can be read has a stand alone, I think it would have been better to have read the others first. I found it a bit too busy, it was hard to work out the little stories of friends and who was who’s partner.

This is the first book by Laura that I have read; I really wish I had read the other two books in the series beforehand. I don’t personally feel that you have to read them but it would have been helpful in some of the situations to know what had happened before, I’m nosy like that! You can piece it together no problem.

The best part of this book was that the two POVs were from Poppy and Jazz, two best friends. It made me fill like I was reading two books and getting two stories at the

Once again we are back into the crazy, hilarious, mayhem that is Poppy and Jazz's world, with this latest creation from the very funny Laura Barnard! Although it could easily be read as a standalone,I'd recommend reading the previous two (The Debt & The Doormat/ The Baby & The Bride) to get the full appreciation of these two character's and those around them!

I haven't read the first 2 books in the series, so wondered if I'd be a bit lost. But it really is fine as a stand alone book. And it is very, very funny!

The situations Poppy finds herself in are sometimes hysterical and sometimes very, very sad. There are plenty of skeletons in everyone's closets and they have a habit of jumping out when you least expect it - and more than one can jump out at the same time!

I loved the way the chapters alternated with Poppy and Jazz.
