Very lovely pictures, but super basic information. This book was more about decorating outdoor spaces, rather than designing them. 3 stars for what it was, 2 stars for not being what I thought I would be. I can’t fault the author for my assumptions.

Lately I find myself reading more about gardening and actually doing less gardening. Becke Davis's "At Home in the Garden" gives a wonderful set of idea to turn your Garden into a place where you can relax, sit down with a great book and a glass of ice tea. I don't know how much I will actually try of these due to lack of space in my own garden but it's quite a resourceful book with plenty of ideas and great descriptions and vivid descriptive pictures.

Nice narrative about the garden as an extension of the home.
