This is a review of the first edition. In America, the title would change to Brian and Bob: The Tale of Two Guinea Pigs. I wish American publishers would quit changing the names of UK books. It makes them really hard to find.

I was homeless in England, stuck in an abusive relationship. Sometimes, I would go into bookstores, go to the children's section, and quick read a picture book before anyone threw me out for loitering. Out of all the books quickly read, this is the one that stuck in my mind the most.

Okay, so it's not the most intricate of plots. However, I could really identify with Brian, who was helpless to forces he could not control.

Children's books are a great way to relax, if only for a few minutes. And how can you not love guinea pigs?

Guinea pigs are my favorite animal so when I found this book written just for them I couldn’t hold back. It was one of the cutest books I have read in a while, it was so wholesome, sweet and perfect! 5/5!
