Review:
“If I can make it through this mess and have a million more days like this one, I’d be a very happy girl. But if this doesn’t work out for me, at least I have this great day to help me last through the bad ones to come.”

5 out of control stars!! Another great book by Kimberly!

I grabbed this book as soon as I saw Kimberly’s name on the cover!! I always know I’m going to get a great book and I was right again with this book! Quinn and Alex’s relationship is tumultuous to say the least!! This book is definitely twisted and will keep you guessing, but it’s so much fun!!

Loved Irrefutable and it so missed a five star for me and ill get to why later. I love the characters...Quinn Taylor and Alex Conway.

Quinn is a strong female lead who I thought was becoming soft till you learn the secrets to WHY that is so....a bastard of a father forcing her hand to marry a man she doesnt love all for monetary gain and image, his. To throw in the kicker if she doesn't he will frame her for a crime that will send her to jail.

Alex, on the day of her wedding, shows up and is about to lay his truth on the line and risk everything he is in doing so. A phone call interrupts that and sets in motion the crumbling....and rebuilding of her worlds.

My only reason for the missed 5 star rating was the conclusion to the father and her confrontation is a little too fast. That a personnel opinion the rest of book is spotless and flawless. I love Kimberly Bracco's descriptive writing and her story lines.

5 Heartbreakingly Beautiful Stars!!!

Heartbreakingly beautiful, sizzling hot, angsty--Irrefutable is all of these things and oh, so much more! This story had my emotions all out of whack at moments and then I'd feel all happy, swoony, or hot and bothered the next. Irrefutable is the conclusion of Alex and Quinn's story. I was dying to get my hands on this ever since I finished reading Fallacy which left me breathless and begging for more with that cliffy!

This book picks up right where Fallacy left off. Quinn is planning a wedding. A wedding to a man who she isn't in love with.

Alex is distraught. He can't bare to see Quinn with another man's ring on her finger.

Quinn has a difficult decision to make. Does she marry Jordan and be miserable? Or does she say no and ruin her career?

The connection is still so blatantly, obviously there between them.

"Just touching her, in the simplest of ways, starts a fire deep within my soul. A fire that only burns for her. A fire that hasn't been lit in a very long time."

This book pulls at your heart strings. These characters go through so much turmoil and heartbreak. Alex's never wavering support of Quinn, regardless of her marrying someone else, is completely endearing. He's there for her no matter what.

Quinn is stubborn as hell. With her being messed up from her childhood, she still refuses to acknowledge how much Alex loves her.

In Irrefutable you see Quinn and Alex grow by leaps and bounds. Not only personally, for themselves, but also in their relationship.

They learn to build a trust that is unbreakable. An unbreakable bond. They learn to give in to certain things, but never give up.

"After all the pain and struggle, I finally feel whole. The bond between us is irrefutable."

I truly loved being in Alex and Quinn's world. Their snarky banter had me laughing with (sometimes at) them. It felt like they had become friends of mine in real life. I'll miss them for sure. I'll have to pick them back up one day just to visit them.

Bracco did a phenomenal job, not only with Irrefutable, but also with Fallacy. She brought the characters to life with her beautiful and unique writing. I can't wait to see what she has to offer up to the world next!

WOW WOW WOW! As soon as I saw this book appear on my kindle, the world took a backseat so I could devour it! I could NOT have asked for a better ending for Quinn and Alex! Irrefutable picks up where Fallacy left off, so you have to read it first to fully live the experience. Quinn Taylor is backed against a wall, where her decisions are not her own anymore, and the plan doesn't include Alex Conway, no matter how much she wishes it differently. Her life has spun out of control, and she no longer knows what to believe in anymore, and it's affecting her badly. Alex wants Quinn, but he's not sure he would survive another heart break. He realizes there's more to the story than anyone knew, but he's not sure how to get her out of it, when she won't tell him why she's marrying another man. Will Alex be able to get Quinn to see that she's about to make the biggest mistake of her life?

I was so mad at this author for the ending of Fallacy, and although I'm not over the wait, she exceeded my expectations to such a degree, that it was ALMOST worth the wait. The character development is fantastic, with the amazing and entertaining cast of secondaries. An emotionally charged, twisty, and very well written storyline flows effortlessly. Alex and Quinn's flammable chemistry is ever present, and thank God, finally ignites into FIERY FLAMES of sexy scene goodness again. Kimberly Bracco's brilliant, yet diabolical, writing style brought the thunder with all new OMG moments that I would have never guessed coming, and as usual, she kept my on my toes, screaming obscenities until the very end. She is one of my very favorite #EW authors, and she can't write new stories quickly enough to feed my addiction. Sooooo, in case you haven't guessed from my fan girl gushing, I FREAKIN' HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this author, and The Apprehensive Duet.

With the cliff hanger ending in Fallacy, I could not wait to get my hands on Irrefutable and it was without a doubt worth the wait!! I fell in love with Alex and Quinn when they were secondary characters in the UnInhibited Series and I was thrilled that they had their own book! If you were a fan of Ashley and Tanner then make sure to one-click Alex and Quinn!!

Quinn is ready to marry a man who she doesn't love all in the hopes of finally getting the better of her asshole father. But when the time comes for her to prepare to walk down the aisle, all she can think about is how she is letting everyone down, including Alex. When Alex, who only cares about Quinn's happiness, asks her the question of all questions...he truly believes that she will finally be truthful about her feelings and what is really behind this wedding to Jordan.

Unfortunately, just when Quinn is about to spill the beans she gets a phone call that changes everything, forcing Quinn to come clean about the motivation behind her wedding and puts a plan into action that can either send her life down a path she can't return from or solve all of her problems.

What follows the phone call has the reader wondering what the future holds for Quinn, if there is room for Alex in her life and if she can finally put herself first and overcome all of the hang ups that hold her back from being truly happy.

Kimberly Bracco keeps true to each character throughout this spin off duet and her time line is impeccable. I am sad to say goodbye to these characters but the ending was perfect in an imperfect way. I highly highly recommend this book to others!

Where do I even begin to describe how much I adored this book!

Such a fantastic conclusion to Alex and Quinn's love story. I fell in love with Alex Conway in the first book, and didn't think it was possible to love him more than I already did. Well, Kimberly Bracco did the impossible; I fell even harder. As angry as he was with Quinn for breaking his heart and cutting him out of her life for two years. He listened to her, he stood by her side, and he NEVER gave up on her. And damn, that first love scene, well damn! Hot!

Then as strong as Quinn Taylor always tried to appear, I loved that we got to see her vulnerability. To see this strong woman, who didn't want to rely on anyone, who's father was out to ruin her, accept help from the man she so desperately tried to push away. There was only maybe one chapter where I wanted to actually slap her, but other than that I loved the woman.

Her father on the other hand not so much. There are no words to describe how much I loathe the man.

Then there was Jordan, I didn't want to like him, but Kimberly just has this way of drawing me in and before I knew it I was falling in love with him too. It was hard not to. I'm actually really wanting to get his full story. Hint, hint!

Bravo, Kimberly. Another fantastic book under your belt! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the future.

"Whenever the world seems like it's about to crumble, Alex appears and saves me from falling."
After Fallacy ended with such a massive cliffhanger, I couldn't wait anymore for this book to continue Quinn and Alex's story!
First of all, let's talk about Alex…
OMG Alex! Hot, sweet, caring and so strong – the kind of man every woman needs by her side.
Now about Jordan, I didn't want to like him, but I did! So so much!
After this whole 'almost marry to Jordan' fiasco, things change and Quinn doesn't go through with the wedding. Instead, she comes clean with everyone around her about her father's threats and with Jordan and Alex's help she fights against him.
Through it all Alex and Quinn get their second chance and work on rebuilding their relationship. Quinn struggles with her feelings and doesn't want to be the girl she used to be. Of course caring, sweet Alex is always there by her side to guide her through it. Like I said, he is the kind of man every woman needs by her side…
Now, about the sex scenes, what can I say, this author knows her way with you know what… HOT HOT HOT!!!!!!!!!
I'm a huge Kimberly Bracco's fan and once again she made my heart and ovaries work a little harder… Who needs cardio, right?

So after reading Fallacy and being left hanging I couldn't wait to get my hands on Irrefutable to see if Alex get Quinn to see what is truly in her heart. When he finally asks her the point blank question to see if she will tell him the truth we gt a glimpse into what her plans really are for marrying Jordan. You would think that yeah now we can get on to the romance and reunion part of their story, right? Nope Kimberly throws us another twist with a phone that will make this book a page turner,
I love Alex, I mean he has gone through so much for Quinn that you can't help but love his sexy arse.
Quinn, well she is the other half of Alex so you love her because he loves her, but you will want to smack her a few times through out both books.
Over all this book gave me the excitement and the trill of what I look for in a romance. I give it 5 stars for the drama and sexiness that Alex and Quinn brought to me!

Wow I honestly expected this to go different. The storyline pushes the boundaries.
Quinn is a mess at the beginning. Dealing with the betrayal of her father while trying to make herself marry the wrong man, it can take a toll on a person.
Alex was sort of a door mat to Quinn in book one. He finally groves her backbone in pursuing her with everything he has.
It's lots of arguments but they work out the conflicts. I loves that the most. I think it's so important to being able to resolve issues and not put a bandaid on.
It's seams like the author is ending it for them but the last parting words leave a bad taste in this readers mouth...

A nice story…

The second book of Quinn & Alex was much better than the second book of Ashley & Tanner. Although it started bad, it didn’t keep the doomsday theme the entire book. The storyline with Quinn was wild but it wasn’t too far fetched.

At the end of the day it turned out how I expected but I’m glad there is a book 3 so I can see what ultimately happens. I recommend reading Quinn’s story if you want a somewhat believable story with just enough gooeyness to not get sick of it.

The conclusion to Quinn and Alex's story. Quinn is being blackmailed and is looking at prison time but Alex won't let her fall. He is her strength through it all. But just when things are looking better, Alex is feeling a little left out and wants to step away from everything. Can Quinn hold on to Alex or will she lose him again.
Can I just say I Love Alex!!!! I love him more than Tanner!!!
I am so happy they got their story, it was a great one!!

What I Loved:After the cliffhanger from Fallacy I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Irrefutable and find out what decision Quinn makes! I’m not going to give anything away but you do get answer almost immediately so you’re not left hanging for too long. Alex and Quinn have been on quite the adventure together and that adventure gets better and better in this book!

I think what I really loved about this book was that I truly didn’t know how Quinn was going to get out from under the pile shit that has been piling on top of her. I love unpredictable stories because you never know which way the story is going to go, it completely hooks you and you can’t stop reading. For the past couple nights, I kept on saying to myself just one more chapter because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

The chemistry between Alex and Quinn is very much alive which made for some very steamy sex scenes. Plus, I loved the character development of Quinn, I think out of all the characters in this story she changed and grew the most. Quinn went through some pretty tough times and watching her regain her strength and grow a backbone again was really enjoyable. I love kickass female leads and Quinn was truly that in every way.

Not So Much: I did really love reading this book, but there were times I felt like all the romantic crap was just a little bit too mushy for me. I know I might seem hypocritical because duh, I read a ton of romance novels. But when you layer in a lot of mushiness to me the story takes on an unrealistic vibe and goes off the rails a little. For me, the romance was laid on a little fake the plot did feel fake and just too sappy. There wasn’t a ton of times this happened just certain instances and I got over it pretty quickly, but that’s just my own qualm about romances.

This is the second book in the The Apprehensive Duet series that is a spin off of the Uninhibited series and these books must be read before you can read book 2 Irrefutable.

Quinn Taylor is following orders of her puppet master. She isn't happy with the plan
and keeping everything together is making everything that much harder. She has no control over her life and she losing it.

Alex knows he isn't guaranteed a HEA with Quinn but he going to give it is all to get her to break down her walls and let him in. He didn't like life without her and he going to insure she part of him life now.

Things are crazy and out of control and they are running out of time with Quinn's puppet master pulling all the strings and there no guarantee that they cut his strings and get control back before its too late. Should Alex try again for Quinn’s love when there are no guarantees that she'll be free from her puppet master? Will Quinn have to follow through with the puppet masters moves and marry one man, to save herself, while destroying Quinn and Alex chance at love?Or can Alex show her a side of love that’s irrefutable?

This was a good book but really unless you've read all the books leading to this book you'd be a little lost. I enjoyed it there was a lot of twists and turns and 3 people Povs was unique and was very interesting. I really liked But without giving away everything I figure out the plot quite easily. It was a quick and easy read that finished up book one which left us with a big cliffhanger. Alex and Quinn need a HEA but you'll have to read it to see what happens with Quinn. I really liked Jordan and felt that he needs a HEA but again you'll have to read to see who live HEA. I think there has to be one more book left in this series. Hint, Hint @ Kimberly Bracco

Irrefutable picks up where Fallacy left off, Alex questioning Quinn why she is marrying Jordan if she isn't in love with him. As Quinn battles with herself whether to trust Alex completely and tell him everything, a phone call from Jordan changes everything. Alex knows there is more than Quinn is telling him, and just like Alex fashion, he is ready to help her. Just when you think things can't get worse for Quinn, your wrong. Truths are revealed and Quinn's life is once again turned upside down. After discovering her father's real plan for her, new and old friends come to help Quinn. Quinn and Alex are brought back together, under the strangest of circumstance. Knowing this is his chance to win Quinn back, Alex uses it to his advantage. This time he holds nothing back, letting Quinn know how he feels through words and physical contact. The sex between Quinn and Alex is even hotter than before, but the difference now is that Quinn doesn't want to be that girl that uses sex to hide. As hard as it is for her, Quinn too tries to speak her feelings out, thanks to Alex. However, Quinn still has trust issues and her relationship with Alex is bumpy. Can Quinn trust Alex enough to let down her walls and let love in? If Quinn can defeat her father and the threat he holds over head, what will happen next? Where will it leave Quinn and Alex? Can Alex and Quinn finally have their HEA?
Kimberly Bracco has delivered a perfect ending to Quinn and Alex's story. Irrefutable was filled with romance, suspense, chemistry, betrayal, honesty, drama, and true friendship. Both Quinn and Alex grow as characters, for the better, but not without many bumps along the way. All the characters in this book played an important role in this emotional roller coaster ride we were pulled into. Great job once again Kimberly!

Well, where do I even start. This is the highly anticipated final part of Quinn and Alex's story, and the first thing I will say is that I am a little devastated that it's over. I feel as though I have lost friends, Alex, Quinn, Ashley and Tanner will always hold a special place in my heart, even Jordan managed to work his way in.

This book literally picks up where Fallacy ended, and things do not look good for Alex and Quinn. Throughout this book we see Quinn grow, she makes some life changing decisions and we get to see her deal with them and the fall out. I can honestly say that initially Quinn was the hardest character to connect with, but the more she opens up the easier she is to love.

Alex, well he was always a favourite, but in this book he shows how far he has come and how much more respect he has for himself. It was wonderful to read a book where the male lead wasn't afraid to show his emotions and to talk about them, and to show his insecurities, it really was a breath of fresh air.

Then we have Jordan, I was definitely wary of him in the first book, but once you read this story, you'll soon see why he managed to earn a place in my heart alongside Alex and the others.

This couple has so many ups and downs and the interactions Quinn has with her father will break your heart, how a parent who is supposed to love a child unconditionally can treat them that way is beyond comprehension.

I love this author; her writing style is so down to earth and easy to read. Personally I love to read about people that could easily be your friends, and this author writes her characters in a way that makes them easy to relate to.

Overall I loved this series and would recommend it to anyone.

Wow this is just. I am speechless. If I had to sum it up in one
word it was transcendent. But of course that is not me. Only
one word only from me? Not a chance. This has to be the
absolute best ending for a book I have ever read. I’m happy
with the ending but sorry to say goodbye to Alex Quinn and
all the other wonderful characters I have come to love along
the way. If you have not read book one stop reading my
review now!!!! You know where we left off with Quinn a mess
and Alex trying to help her decide what to do. Well get the
tissues read before you open the book. When Queen gets
a call from Jordan she bolts from her apartment to get to him.
And you will need those tissues throughout this book but it is
well worth it. The wedding is postponed but not off. There is
no way Quinn’s evil, vial , and all around ass of a father is
will make sure he gets what he wants. The heartless man
thins he is to smart to get caught. But there is one thing he
did not plan on/ Quinn has friends who love her. And not one
but two men that won’t let (arrgh father is too good a word
for him) her father hurt her. Then there is how much Quinn
has grown through these books. But you will not believe who
puts Quinn in her place when she is about too loose the one
thing she needs more that anything. And before you ask it is
not Alex, but I am not telling you will have to read the
book to find out.

Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you
enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book,
please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it
when you do; they value your opinions too.

I’m a big fan of Ms. Bracco. Her characters come to life off the pages, even if I want to slap the hell out of the female leads. We meet Alex and Quinn in the Uninhibited series. Their characters where so great together I was rooting for their book. When I got it in Fallacy, I was like oh shit that’s what I’m talking about.

After reading Irrefutable, I’m still happy they got a story but only because of Alex. I do not like Quinn, at all, and that’s bad because she’s the lead. I wanted to like her and maybe at the end I could tolerate her, but that’s only because of Alex.

Alex is that perfect man, well mine anyways. He supported Quinn even after she tore his heart out and stomped on it. That man still had hope for the woman he loved, but that woman did not deserve him.

Ms. Bracco takes you through a journey with this book, she paints the picture and it comes together fabulously. It’s the journey of finding yourself, for both Quinn and Alex, although I don’t think Alex had far to look. When they came out on top, I was happy for them until the next chapter coming from Alex’s point of view. I swear that chapter broke my heart, then when the next chapter came from Quinn’s point of view, I was giving high fives to Ashley in my head. Because I swear she said what needed to be said.

Irrefutable is an emotional ride, I was happy, sad, angry and pissed off. (Last two mainly at Quinn.) It was a page turning, and if I were reading it as a life story, I would want both Quinn and Alex to come on top, if only for Alex’s sake.

Irrefutable is the second book in the Apprehensive Duet series by Kimberly Bracco. You will have needed to read the first book of the series, Fallacy to understand book 2. The Apprehensive Duet is a spin-off of Ms. Bracco’s Uninhibited books. Irrefutable begins right where the first book ends. It is the day of Quinn and Jordan's wedding, and Alex has arrived at Quinn’s to try and talk her out of marrying Jordan in the name of business. Before they are able to dive into much discussion, something happens to push the wedding back. Alex sees this as an opportunity to talk to Quinn later and find out for sure what is going on in her head. Quinn feels horrible about marrying Jordan, especially when she thinks he is thinking of the marriage a much more than a business deal. Jordan and Quinn eventually come clean to their family and friends and with their help, devise a plan to bring Quinn’s father down.
After Fallacy ended in a big cliff-hanger, I couldn’t wait to read Irrefutable. It did not disappoint! I loved the continuation of Quinn’s and Alex’s relationship. Quinn did reveal a life-altering decision she had made in the end of the book that Alex needed to be made aware of if they were going to be together. Alex told Quinn that as long as he had her, he was happy. Fortunately, Quinn was able to redeem herself to me in the Epilogue. The Apprehensive Duet is a spectacular series that I would definitely recommend to anyone.

4 out of 5 stars

I’ve been (not so) patiently waiting for this story since I read Tanner and Ashley’s story last year...and especially since reading the first part earlier this year.

Quinn and Alex have a history that is hard to understand. Quinn’s entire life she’s felt unloved and unworthy. Alex was never going to settle down. He liked his bachelor status, but Quinn changed all that for him. However, Quinn wasn’t ready to settle down either so she pushed him away.

This story is a great conclusion for their story. You see them finally going all the way with their feelings and being honest with each other instead of holding back - to protect her or for her to protect herself. Though misguided much of the time, the pair is a great couple and finally we see them trying it out.

I have to admit I didn’t go with 5 stars because I felt like Quinn still whined a little too much though she did grow a backbone before the novel was over, there were times I wanted to tell her to just take the punch and throw one back!!!

Alex was also a little too easy on her -- and let her take it out on him a little too often -- but when he finally stood up to her, it was the best decision of their relationship!

Ms Bracco brought together this story in a way that I really enjoyed and I can’t wait to read more from her!!!

Irrefutable was the second book in the Apprehensive Duet Series.
These are not standalone books you do need to read Fallacy first in order to understand this book.
I would give this book a 4 stars and I would recommend to others.

If you read Fallacy you know it ended in quite the cliff hanger so of course I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book!
There was so much depth to both of these stories I feel a little lost after not having them apart of me anymore, I will truly miss Alex... Quinn I am not sure how to feel about her lol... I wanted to literally throw her in front of a bus a few times in the first book and this one... but maybe she grew on me a little towards the end. I will have to say I think I will always hold a little resentment to her for future references hahahaha.

I liked in the this book that we not only got more in depth with Quinn and Alex we got to know Jordan more as well, I felt like he needed to be more of a main character and was soooo happy that Kimberly delivered that! I will not spoil you with any words about this story.. but I will tell you this is quite the twisty mind bedazzle and will keep you guessing whats going to happen till the end.

These are the first books I have read by this author but I will definitely be following her work in the future. Thanks for a great ride and I look forward to so much more!

I rarely choose a book to read when there is a cliffhanger so it’s a bit of a miracle that I am here to review this one. I’m glad I chose to read it. This book really brings things together for me. There felt like so many unanswered questions in the first book. Alex is really an amazing and supporting character in this book. His love for Quinn is so strong and so obvious when he decides to put his feelings aside to be there for her while she deals with the situation with her father, even if that means being her friend. Quinn turns to Alex when things fall apart for her because she feels safe with him and feels like he is the one person she can trust. There was less focus on the side characters with this book though they still have significant parts in the book. There is a lot of suspense in this book because Quinn decides to stand up to her father and not allow him to control and ruin her life. It’s interesting to see her realize her feelings for Alex and their relationship. Other characters in the book play big parts in helping her accomplish all of this. This book really brought the story together with a wonderful conclusion. Kimberly has done an outstanding job with creating a suspenseful and drama filled romance book. I gave the first book four stars, however, with this book the Apprehensive Duet series became a five star read for me.
