The inseparable are well and truly split.

Mack, Faith and Lacey, joined at the hip since primary school, are about to graduate high school. You might think this sounds like a book about coming-of-age and taking that leap into adulthood.

It is— except one of them doesn’t make it …

Lacey Marone had two solid things on her agenda for her future — working in the Pepperoni Palac

Well, let's start off by saying this book was not what I expected at all, it was way better than that!

That first chapter in Losing Faith was life, for real. It made me smile, it made me cry and whitin a few pages I was hooked on the story.

“What’s left to hope for when Faith is gone?”

From the very first page I knew I would cry. And I was happy to take it. Whether it was out of happiness or raw sadness. But dammit I didn't imagine the story would make me feel so much.

The Surfers Way Series is a two book companion series by Australian authors Jennifer Ryder and Lauren K. McKellar. The series it self is composed of two books: Losing Faith by Jennifer Ryder and Seeking Faith by Lauren K. McKellar. Both books are full length contemporary romances set in hustle and bustle of Sydney and sleepy coastal towns of the central Coast and Newcastle Australia. I know how cliche it is going to sound, but you really need to take my word for it when I say that you need to re ...more

That right there ^^ is what I took from reading Losing Faith.

Lacey Marone didn't just lost her best friend the night that Faith Kelly died. She lost her other best friend, she lost family, the lost the boy she loved.

But what she hasn't lost is her sense of purpose. As much as it has cost her, is still costing her, she won't give up until she finds what she is after.

Enter Quade - the one that got away. Well, ran away really. Right from the start you can feel t

Jennifer Ryder is a remarkable storyteller, her way with words will hit the mark and touch your heart. Losing Faith is a compelling, beautiful story about a girl who loses her best friends and continues to seek justice for her death.

Lacey, Faith and Mack were three best bitches, bffs. Always there for each other and sharing an unbreakable connection with one another. Unbeknownst to her best bitches, Lacey has been head over heels for Faith’s brother, Quade. The girls have graduated and are cele

Losing Faith is the story of Lacey Marone. A girl from a small coastal town where everyone knew everyone and nothing happened that no one knew about. Lacey wasn’t sure what she wanted to do once she left school but she had her two best friends and that was plenty for her. The rest would work itself out. Or so she thought! On the night of graduation, her best friend Faith walked home drunk one night and was killed. It all went downhill fast. Her best friend Mack ran away without another word to a ...more

I love Losing Faith. It made me laugh and cry but also just smile. You know when you read those feel good moments and they're just perfect and you feel like hugging someone/yourself or the book? Well this book has those moments for me. I'm sure I looked like one of those smiling idiots, smiling for what seemed like no reason. Haha

Lacey lost her best friends and the only guy she's loved in one night. Three years later she's still trying to find out the truth when Quade comes back to town. Quade

Lacey did not only loose two best friends on graduation night she lost the love of her life too, Quade who left town to get away from the guilt he felt after his sisters death. Things only get worse for Lacey in her home town when she decides to take things into her own hands to try and find out who was responsible for her friends death. Needless to say she was not the most liked person in Runaway Beach. Then one day Quade is back in town after having been gone for 3 years. How will Lacey react ...more

After reading Lacey and Quades story I can't even get my thoughts together... I laughed and cried, I loved the silliness of Lacey and the smoking hot chemistry between the two main characters. This book will stick with me for a very long time!!! Lacey stopped at nothing and pretty much put her life on hold to solve the murder of her bestie Faith.... Quade basically left town and never looked back but after three years he comes back and he and Lacey can finally have a relationship that was put on ...more

Bring on the tears from the first few chapters. We meet 3 best friends who love each other to the core. Then comes along a tragedy that tears them apart.

Lacey looses her best friend in the most terrible way. She looses her other best friend by guilt. But who’s?

I was ugly crying so hard that my husband was worried. Then I shoved my kindle in his direction and he just laughed at me and said ” Oh you’re reading”. Lol

This story was like an emotional roller – coaster. Happy, Sad, Excited and Angry.

This story is about the truest of friendships!! They were three best friends & on the night that they were celebrating the closing of one chapter & the beginnings of new chapters. . . . it all came to an end.

Three years later Lacey is still searching for answers to her best friend's (Faith) death. Quade, Faith's brother, returns to town & there are still sparks between him & Lacey. Lacey's parents were her best support system & I loved her dad's accent. Lacey had me in such an emotional mess thr

Losing Faith is such a wonderful book.
I absolutely loved the sense of family and friendships that the author has written about in this story. Lacey and her family are such beautiful characters and the way her relationship with Quade Kelly develops made me sigh and swoon big time. He sure is a man with a heart of gold.
The book does start off rather sad, but there are some really heartwarming as well as heartwrenching moments throughout.
I was very happy with how it ended. Great writing Jennifer.

Lacey didn't just loose one best friend that night. What do you do when you loose your best friend? If you're Lacey you never give up.
This story pulled me in from the first page. Lacey is head strong, sweet, funny, a little bit broken and alot loyal.
If you want a read that will make you laugh and make you cry (I suggest having tissues handy) this is it.
I love the way this story had me invested in the people and relationships in it.
Definitely a 5 start read that I couldn't put down until the

Watching the events of one evening unveil and fall like dominos. Seeing lives shatter and relationships stretch. Feeling like there won't ever be the ability to breath easily. Close your eyes and just imagine trying to make sense of everything swirling between all of the characters and then BAM....lives altered forever. Fast forward years and now the past is even more current than ever.

Lacey's quest for the truth isn't making her a ton of friends. In fact it really alienates her from her past r

This is an incredibly touching love story that took me through the entire range of emotions and I loved every second of the journey! I've read a few books by this author and this is far different than any of the other books I've read by her. I loved everything about this book and didn't want it to ever end. It was amazing to witness Lacey's journey from being a young and carefree girl all the way through to the point where she ends up, which I'm not going to give away here. I love her and Quade' ...more

Losing Faith is one of a pair of companion novels; the other is Seeking Faith by Lauren K. McKellar, which follows Mack's story. I am a huge fan of McKellar's work, so I bought the pair and -- on advance -- read Losing Faith first. (You really seem to be able to read them in either order, but Losing Faith really whets your appetite for wondering what on earth Mack's deal is!)

If I had to describe this book in one sentence it would be "love after tragedy in a sleepy coastal town". I think I went i
