Art of Bleach: All Colour But The Black

This is a soft cover book with a dust jacket. The first page is a multi-fold page that unfolds into a small poster, both sides printed.

Full page coloured illustrations dominate most of the pages. The paper stock is good and the colour reproduction great. You can see the details in inking, and in colouring , the gradations and texture of the water colour. Most of the illustrations included come from the Weekly Jump.

At the end are 13 title page illustrations for the caption, which are in black and white.

All illustrations are annotated. Short captions are also included by the artist Tite Kubo to explain the background story.

Great book for fans of Bleach.

This is definitely something aimed at Bleach fans who have been following it for some time, but that doesn't make the art any less beautiful. Tite Kubo is simply an amazing artist. One thing I love about this artbook in particular is that you can somewhat see how Kubo's style improved with time. Bleach had very iffy art at first, but now it's definitely known for its unique and detailed looking characters.

This is a book full of the artwork of Bleach. Nothing really to read just all of the artwork of characters from bleach. I like all of the pictures. Especially with them being in color. Really pretty and nice.

A necessary book of wonders for any Bleach fan! $15 is great price for the amazing content this book has to offer. This book can be described as an Ichigo-fest with the drippiest, dopest images of him and the gang. Kubo never disappoints and this book is no different; there's seriously some cool artwork in here. The poses, the fashions and attitude of the series is strongly evident throughout as we see the gang and Soul Society members looking their best.

I only wish there was some artwork of the espada in here but other than that, I have no other complaints.

If you like fan service, Kubo's artwork or Bleach in general then you should definitely buy this book

The Art of Bleach: All Colour but the Black is Bleach creator Tite Kubo's collection of various Bleach works of art created over the years - all in one central location. It's definitely a must-have for any big Bleach fan. The art is so colorful and vibrant, and there is even an index in the back in which Kubo gives some insight into the process behind the creation of each piece featured. (He has a unique and funny voice, and I really enjoyed reading his words.) This is, again, definitely something worth checking out if you're a Bleach fan.

It's a lovely addition to any Bleach fan's bookshelf, I'm just a little sad that there're few pictures which haven't been recycled in and on almost every other Bleach-related merchandise out there. It's meant to be a colour book but since many of the characters are Shinigami, there's an awful lot of black, and white (hence, Bleach)!
That being said, the artwork is brilliant, I could stare at it all day. I especially liked the addition of Tite Kubo's thoughts on each illustration right at the back of the book.
I do hope Kubo Sensei decides to make a second volume - I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

A dazzling example of how much Kubo sensei has grown throughout the years in his art. So much detail and care has been given to his drawings, one can see how much he loves his story and characters.
