Darcy's Inheritance
Darcy Hagen has inherited more than an old house from her estranged father. She now has joint guardianship of her half-sister, Amy. While excited about being part of the girl's life, Darcy dreads cooperating with Amy's big brother, Blake. She's never met him, but Darcy has resented Blake for years-ever since her father left and married Blake's mom. Blake Thompson doesn't welcome Darcy's intrusion, and he's sure Amy doesn't need a sister who won't always be there for her. He wants Darcy to seel the house, give up Amy, and go on with her self-absorbed life. Will past hurts and misconceptions stand in the way of love and family? Or will Darcy and Blake let God heal their aching hearts and find peace in Him-and with each other?

About the author
Linda Ford
221 books380 followersLinda Ford grew up devouring books and making up stories in her head—often late at night when she couldn't sleep. But she hadn't planned to write. Instead, she dreamed of running an orphanage. In a way, that dream came true. She married, had four homemade children, adopted ten and lived (at times, endured) the dream.
Writing first took her to non-fiction human-interest articles for newspapers and eventually a non-fiction book about tuberculosis set in the 1930s and 1940s (Touched By The White Plague). But romance had always been her first love and she turned to writing love stories. She is multi-published in the CBA market.
She lives on a small ranch in Alberta, Canada, where she can see the mountains every day. She and her husband continue to enjoy their children and grandchildren.
