The pictures are very dated at this point, but--fun fact--my neighbor is featured in one of them with her Westie! It's a nice non-fiction book with colorful pictures that teaches kids what puppies do and need. My two-year-old likes to "read" this one to me. The only bad part (and this is just because it's an old book) is that it doesn't mention rescuing puppies at all, only getting them from a breeder or an ad in the newspaper.
