WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER PROJECT!

SEPTEMBER PROJECT IS OVER! TAKE THAT, SEPTEMBER, YOU HAVE BEEN DISPENSED WITH!!

i'm pretty sure this is going to be my LAST coloring project. there are too many other kinds of books i want to explore, but it's pretty hard to turn down a book full of animals with potty mouths, you know?

here's some quick math and a consumer FYI: this book is a mashup of Chill the F*ck Out A Swear Word Coloring Book by Hannah Caner and Color Me F*cking Calm Swear Words to Color and Display by Hannah Caner . HOWEVER, there's ANOTHER book: Not Safe for Work A Swear Word Coloring Book by Hannah Caner , which has most of the illustrations from this book, but also some from Mommy Drinks Because You Cry A Sarcastic Coloring Book by Hannah Caner . so there's a lot of overlap. i MAY cheat a little and graze between the two, but after the project is over, i will go back and make a handy key stating which images are from which book, which are in both, etc etc. but for now, welcome to cussin'town!

September 1

suitable for framing! for murrrrrrder!

September 2

DUCK IT!

September 3

i didn't realize until now i'd given this jellyfish a watermelon girdle. oops!

September 4

groooan for puns

September 5

it's refreshing to finally see a bird self-identifying as a shithead. because birds are horrible creatures, pooping on cars and heads and e-readers. rude.

September 6

listen to the fish, everyone! even if you are not an asshole, i hope you have a nice day...

September 7

i want to use this picture as a stock response to all the rude comments i get on my reviews. in fact, feel free to grab any of these for use on your own reviews. let people know us monkeys aren't going to stand for this shit anymore...

September 8

a nice unintentional response to that shouty monkey above, this picture is also a lesson: if this snail can remain calm while a giant flower is growing out of his butt, your own problems shouldn't make you anxious. could be worse, flower-butt...

September 9

not bitchy, just chompy!

September 10

part koala, part lizard, all badass

September 11

cussing doesn't always imply aggression. sometimes it's just emphatic.

September 12

good doggie! never apologize for who you are.

September 13

cropping skills - i needs them

September 14

this one might be my favorite so far...

September 15

it's pink, for girls!

September 16

so i can swim in your teeeeeears

September 17

nothing more pleased with itself than a cat talking smack...

September 18

not me. obviously, i have no idea what being a bitch is like.

September 19

and don't you fucking forget it!

September 20

here's something weird. way back in july when i did Whimsical Woodland Creatures: Coloring for Artists as my project of the month, this same exact image was used, without the caption.

this is how i colored it then:

this asshole bear gets around...

September 21

crabby bitch. i suppose i can relate...

September 22

take that, haters of beauty!

September 23

that penguin has zero shits to give!

September 24

fuck, that's fancy!

sorry, i took a few days off from posting these because i've been caught up in cuddling my poor kitty. i've been coloring, i just haven't been on here much so i didn't post them. but here are a bunch!

September 25

you hear that, whatever is afflicting my cat? stop being a dick!

September 25

this one has no place in the "swear word coloring book," as "stupid" is not a swear, but we'll let it go cuz that ostrich is pretty rad.

September 27

you do NOT, mister elephant! you look as free from shit-giving as that penguin from before

September 28

i love these foxen because their eyeballs are made out of smiley faces! bitches don't play, but their eyes do smile...

September 29

this is how i have felt all week - putting off a ton of stuff i have to do because i am all worried with maggie-worry.

CUT THE SHIT, PEOPLE!!! that's all i have to say about that.

SEPTEMBER PROJECT IS OVER!

and i think we all learned a lot here together. i'm glad we shared this experience. many markers were dried-out in the course of this project, but it was worth it. no more coloring for a while, though.

oh, and for all that blathering at the outset, i ended up only using the one book, so maybe there WILL be more coloring in future projects, since i still have all these other coloring books lying around. but a break is necessary for now.

onto october project!

come to my blog!

I finally allowed myself to mark up a book! I transformed a poor little duck into a horribly ugly peacock in the days following my call to 911 despite all my mother's protestations. Thank heavens I made that call but I do wish I had even a glimmer of talent. Poor little duckie.
