Long before Melanie Karis (previously writing as ANN NICHOLS) became a professional author she was a reader. In fact to sit back with a good book has always been just about her favorite thing to do. From when she learned to read when just a little girl living in Richmond, Virginia until the present to get lost in the words of the pages of a book, to be a part of the world of the protagonist, to learn about another's life through those words, indeed, sometimes to even "become" a character in a book, well, to her there is nothing better.

Melanie is CBA, the Association for Christian Retail, bestselling author of "The Faith of St. Nick: An Advent Devotional" (writing as ANN NICHOLS) She has authored numerous Inspirational Romance novels and novellas and historical articles for journals and magazines.
