The land has become unnaturally quiet. It’s as if everyone is waiting for some sign that Xandre can be beaten. That someone will stand up to him, and win.

With Shanti calling the shots, and Cayan’s battle know-how, it seems certain that the Chosen can be the catalyst. That they can lead the oppressed to freedom.

But Xandre didn’t become the Being Supr

Book six – the final book – in the Warrior Chronicles Series is currently being written. I don’t yet have a release date. It really depends on how long it takes to write and produce. It should be by the end of the year, however.

Shanti rocks.

Girls rule.

Guys are hilarious, grumpy wimps. But we love them anyway. Kind of. For the technical stuff. Ha.

This was a good addition to the series, but it being the fifth book, it felt as if the series is going out of energy a bit... I have enjoyed every book very much, including this one, but the narrative felt a bit forced and the plot started not only to repeat itself, but also meander quite a bit. However, even with all of that, Shanti is still her old, bossy self, worried and caring about her people and all the allies who have been trickling to the city, gathering and learning h

Everytime I think this series can't get any better K.F. Breene proves me wrong and Siege is without a doubt my favourite book so far. The action is pretty much non stop from the first page and you can really tell that things are ramping up in anticipation of the final battle against Xandre.

Now that Shanti and Cayan have been widely recognised as the Chosen they are slowly starting to increase the numbers in their army. They already have Cayan's well trained forces, along with all the new female

It’s time for this series to come to an end. So much of this felt like filler. There was a hell of a lot of action, but at the end the story didn’t advance much compared to where it began. Character development was seriously lacking unless learning that Leilius is kinky in the sack is character development. How is it possible for so much and so little to occur in the same book?

Honestly I thought this was the last book when I started it, but obviously I was wrong. After read
This series is awesome. Very strong warrior heroine who has earned respect. She thinks with a level head, fights like super ninja and has mental powers to fight with.
I need to re-read this series the next time I get annoyed by some idiot, simpering helpless heroine.

This story is a continuation of the series and the fight against the BIG BAD.

Siege is book five in the Chosen series... Truth to be has some lengths. It took me like forever to read it.
Still everytime I was reading, I loved the people and their journey, but it couldn't hold my attention long enough and it didn't call me back to read more.

You heard right....that's me guys - the books speak to screaming my name....begging me to neglect everything just to come back and READ!!!! This one did NOT ;-(. was a book that I could put do

There should at least be one more book! What kind of ending was that?!?! Just a little upset over here
4 Stars... It is time for the people to rise and take their vengeance... Shanti and Cayan must rally their followers and demonstrate their strength and perseverance... Engaging the enemy in order to exterminate the fear and control... In a game of cat and mouse who will arise as the victor?... Humor, action, romance, friendship, and loyalty all coalesce to bring forth the much anticipated final book in this riveting series.:)

Enjoyable rebellion start, the best parts for me are when the honor guard infiltrate a city. These are the most exciting and varied parts of the book. Very much looking forward to the concluding book in the series.

I've given every book in this series 4+ stars and then this book...I don't know what happened. I almost DNFed. Seriously.

All previous books have been so good because of the Shanti-Cayan chemistry and their incredible supporting cast. This book had only ...4 conversations between Shanti and Cayan AT ALL. It was like they were so at peace with one another that they just forgot the other existed. It was so sad.

Then we read a bunch from the supporting cast perspective but Sanders was not as funny &

Not as good as the others in this series. Sure, still a lot of action and plotting but the story did not improve. I am only giving it a 3 because fewer interactions between Cayan and Shanti which I really looked forward to in the past. I still love Sanders though and the honor guard. Although, I can't help but agree with the other reviewers that this needs to end. I mean, they need to defeat Xandre. Kiss his butt once and for all so they can have their peace and Cayan and Shanti will have their ...more

Great story!

I love this story so much really the only reason I gave 3 stars is because this book felt very short.

Recommend the series. Don't start here. Okay?

It is a great medieval warring "good vs evil" paranormal fantasy with a strong female character driven plot and a touch of Harlequin hotness. Not just PG13, more like porn in a spot or two. The violence would actually concern me more if I cared at all, but I did notice the sex in this volume. Then reviewing the series I see there's always been some saucy stuff, just didn't hit me like it did in this one.

I am sounding like a broken record but this series has firmly cemented my status as a member Ms Breene's fanclub. I love her writing style, the intelligence of her plots, the complexities of her characters and the pace at which she leads us through her stories. This book had me on the edge of my seat breathless, biting my nails in tension.

I downloaded the narration to accompany this Kindle version and once again, loved Cait

Awesome! Big bounce back from book 4. The final battle in this one was much better. The army is finally assembled and now its time for some serious revenge! I could feel Cayan's pain at the end of this one... boy is he pissed now. I can't wait to see the hell he unleashes in the next book! Starting the final installment, very excited!

They are battling it out for freedom, Shanti, Cayan and their whole army is determined to beat Xandre and his hordes of Graygual and Inka but can they really do it?

I am just loving Shanti and Cayans story it's been a truly challenging adventure so far I can't wait to read how it all ends.
while I flew trough the previous books Siege took me almost two whole months to finish.
I don't really know why though.. just that I never really felt like picking it up again.

Story and characters are still good though so no worries :)
its like binge watching a tv series...i need more

This one was a bit more scattered. At this point I just wanna know what’s going to happen at the end.

Side note: I’m half way through the last book and I’ve already read the bonus epilogue Breene posted on her website so I know how it ends. 🙈🙈

This is the fifth part of Warrior Chronicles from K.F Breene. I really loved previous books and i was really expecting a lot, like something mind blowing.
Well i must say she did it again, i was consumed in to the story, i enjoyed how the characters developed from book 1. This is amazing how K.F.Breene can write a standalone story but, not lose the gold line in it from the book 1.
I love how secondary characters gets their chance in this book, woman grow from house wifes to battle woma

There wasn't a real goal in this book, Shanti already traveled to the Shadowlands, she freed Cayan's Town from the Hunter and now there is nearly nothing left, except Xandre, the being supreme, the big villain, the boss fight. But Shanti isn't yet prepared to fight Xandre directly, she simply doesn't know how to fight an army, an organisation like this. So Shanti is stalling the great attacks until she finally decides to act. So basically, "Siege" is the preparation for the next part of the stor ...more

Gah I love this series and this latest book just made it even better.

Can I just say how much I love Cayan? I mean - perfect guy or what? We need more Cayan/Shanti moments. Like a lot more.

What really makes this series great is probably all of the minor side characters and their awesome personalities. Sanders is hilarious. I really liked him from the beginning but this book and the one before he's wormed his way in - I love Sanders. And Kallon and Alena - please please please tell me they get t

I love a female mc who is sassy and can fight. Author's very good at telling the story. I love that I can imagine all the scenes especially the fight scenes. I don't mind the gore. It was that good. Plus, I love love love Sanders! Lol. He's not the main male mc but dang! I love him! Lmao. Not because he's hot or something but because of how he talks, acts and think. So yep, definitely my favorite!!

I am amazed at the author's consistent ability to deliver in this series. Five books and not one has been a disappointment. If you're into kick ass heroines, and heroes battles fought with swords and arrows, a little magic and romance and humor tossed in, you're going to enjoy this series.
In this story Shanti Chu Hoi (which seems at least to me a very odd name for a blonde fair skinned heroine) and Cayan (the Captain) whom together form "The Chosen" continue on their quest to defeat the Being S
