Starr killed it with her debut. The characters were a little too real for me here, especially because art often imitates life. They were vibrant, a little over-the-top on the surface, but as you get deeper, they start to unfold.

Umm, girl. We're going to need a sequel :)

This book was good, trashy, messy and funny all bundled in a package! I laughed, shook my head and laughed some more.

Few times have I read a book that I didn't want to end. It takes great writing and imagination to craft characters who you can relate to to the point that you feel like you know them. That's how I felt when reading Bloggers Can't Be Trusted. I was literally talking back to the characters while reading! (don't judge me! LOL) The surprise ending was definitely a surprise as I was trying to figure out who the secret blogger was the whole time and kept falling flat. I've told all of my friends about ...more

Maaaaaan, listen. As a black woman writer in NYC who is in the media, I feel all the feels with this book. Ha! And really, even beyond that, it's just good. I can totally see this as a movie. Michael B. Jordan, you have a calling here as the main love interest. It has sex, NYC life, contemporary stuff, and it's just super enthralling. I def recommend copping it.

Fun Read

Starrene wove together a tale that was fast paced and fun to read with each chapter growing more entertaining. I don't think you'll be disappointed by her portrayal of the entertainment industry. Enjoy! I certainly did.

A mixture of wit, romance, and drama...and I really enjoyed it all. A very well written page turner.

So much DRAMA

Great book! As a blogger the title caught my attention righr away. I loved the romance and the drama. I loved the reality of the struggle of working in the entertainment industry and getting sucked into the mess! Very well written

This was a good read. It definitely gives you a different perspective about on gossip bloggers and their crew. I was rooting for Nye and Olu. Thank goodness for happy endings. I can't stand when a book doesn't have a happy ending.

I really tried

I really tried to like this book but when I don't like the main character it get kind of hard. Nye was just ugh. Her thoughts, her actions were just annoying. I found myself skipping pages. I liked Olu but that was not enough to give this book more than two stars.
