Adam Alfred Zych, polski psycholog, pedagog, poeta, tłumacz i profesor nauk społecznych.

Jego zainteresowania badawcze obejmują gerontologię społeczną, pedagogikę starzenia się i starości oraz psychologię religii. Jest autorem artykułów w „Pro Memoria”, „Sztuce”, „Ikarze” i „Świętokrzyskim Kwartalniku Literackim”. Wystąpił w filmie dokumentalnym pt. Kielce, czyli polski Bronx (1995). Odznaczony został m.in. Krzyżem Kawalerskim Orderu Odrodzenia Polski, Złotym Krzyżem Zasługi i Medalem Komisji Edukacji Narodowej. Uhonorowano go również Nagrodą Miasta Kielce i Medalem Miasta Oświęcimia.

Opublikował kilkanaście tomików wierszy, również w językach angielskim i niemieckim.

This anthology of poems was heartbreaking. I could only read it in very short spurts before it would hit me hard in the heart. I was forced to take many breaks while reading this as the emotional toll was a heavy one. This is an incredibly impactful, incredibly powerful (but also incredibly difficult) read.

Definitely a heavy and heartbreaking read. I do feel it's important that stories, poems and the memories of this horrible time in history stays relevant. Never forget.
