Dark magic has spread, gaining traction throughout Daearen and threatening to destroy the balance within the realm—as well as that of Earth. But all may not be lost... When Banee-Belle of the Air Fey discovers an ancient clue, one which could lead her to the most powerful spells ever written within the realm, hope returns to her heart. If she can employ her wits to decipher the clue, she will gain the ability to wield magic of unheard of power against the Light Fey’s evil counterparts. But before her quest even begins, Banee learns she must team up with the one fey who broke her heart, leaving her to live an incomplete life—a fey never made whole. Can Banee push aside her contempt and distrust to complete her most vital mission yet? Will she have the strength to face her own broken heart to prove she is so much more than the pretty princess everyfey assumes her to be—saving her fey in the process?

this one back tracked to before scarette was queen and shows things going on. it's a bit slow and i haven't learned anything that i haven't fiured out in the first 2 books. hopefully it picks up. on chapter 5 and nothing worth noting has happened. this book is mainly about Banee- Belle with some beathan thrown in there. i already am wondering who the next book will be about. im guessing the set of twins. i know one thing i wish Emmy Gatrell would have drawn a family tree. There are way to many peps to remember. Ok things between mick and banee make more since as well as the way she acted towrds Mathew. I would hate Mick too, such a asshole. Dawn everyone is pretending to be someone else. I think this book recounts to much and doesn't have enough of Mick and Banee. I feel so sorry for Banee about Mick. this book isn't as good as the first one. To drawn out.
This is the story of Banee and Mick. Separate they are good but together they are a force to be reckoned with. I love the way the story is developing. Can’t wait for the next one (I hope there will be one)
Eitlean: Book Three of the Daearen Realms by Emmy Gatrell is another great 5 star read.
The story continues with book 3 and Banee-Belle of the Air Fey. She has grown up hiding her true powers, and training in secret to learn how to fight to protect her home. In the book she slowly will reveal her secrets, she isn't just a pretty princess. She is actually a kick ass girl in here. When all able body fey are called to fight for the Princess of Daearen, Banee doesn't hesitate to help but is stopped when her father says it's not time to show her skills. Rats, lol.
Come back and enjoy Banee-Belle and Mick's story, it is scrumptious. Saretta, the Queen is back along with the rest of the Daearen characters. You will meet Phillip, Banee's evil brother and fall in love with Mick,(hubba hubba) even though I wanted to slap him upside the head a couple of times. Banee will finally show off her skills with the weapon she designed. The Tesbai, which is one wicked weapon.
Another fantastic fantasy to get lost in. Squeal. Great YA/PNR read. 5 Stars
