What do you do when the love of your life is halfway across the world?
If you’re Jade Reamer, you fill that void with writing depressing song lyrics, hanging out with asshole exes, and re-reading your dead best friend’s diary (morbid, anyone?). But she’s got a lot to deal with—getting to know her biological family, for one. Not to mention getting through her first year of ...more

Yet again, Christina has produced an emotional and engaging read that really packs a punch. What I love about the characters she creates is how relatable they are. There's no excess drama, but real issues that we all struggle with. Jade is one of my favourite fictional characters, she's so bluntly raw, like a best friend who'll tell you your bum does look big in those jeans. But there's something charismatic about her honesty. This series isn't typical new adult, far from it. It's sassy and hone

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review. This does not influence my opinion in any shape or form.
Jaded little lies is the full length novel of Those Four letter words. You don’t have to read Those Four Letter Words in my opinion because Jaded Little Lies explains what happened in a brief overview. I personally think you should Those Four Letter Words so you can really understand what is going with Jade, B and Reed.

I am in love with this author's Dahlia series and so I had to read this book. Luckily, it didn't disappoint. So much raw emotion from Jade that I wanted to hug her and sometimes punch her. (but I think she would have agreed with me)
Jaded Little Lies is a sequel to the novella called Those Four Letter Words but I think you can enjoy this novel on its own without reading the novella. Of course, go read the novella! It's worth it! The thing about Christina's writing is that I love it. Her characte ...more

Quick Summary
Jade Reamer’s life is pretty messed up. Again. Having to deal with her boyfriend deployed, another family to deal with, things haven’t been exactly pretty. Especially when her boyfriend comes back, and things aren’t exactly the same between them. Will Jade ever get a reprieve from all the heartache and drama?

read that this one can be read without reading Those Four Letter Words. I read Those Four Letter Words before reading this one. I would recommend that you do start with Those Four Letter Words first. It gives you a better connection with the characters.
Jade has been through a ton of stuff, more than most people her age. She has coped well with things. She is rebuilding her life after she found out a lot of things she thought where true were not true. She is reconnecting with her birth parents a ...more
