There are certain words that have always described Cam Brantley: Town bad boy. Soldier. Protector. But never, ever dad. Until he returns home from his latest military tour to discover the girl he had one smoking-hot night with is now mom to the adorable two-year-old Zoey. Who has his eyes.

Plenty of words could describe Emma Walker these days. Mom, dutiful granddaughter, bu

The Bad Boy's Baby was such a wonderful read, loved it!

Cam and Emma shared one night of passion before he was deployed overseas.
When he comes back 3 yrs later he's surprised to learn the woman that invaded his dreams is now a mother, and that little girl has his eyes...
The one thing Cam never wanted was to be a father and now this smart, feisty little girl was his.

Cam was so adamant that love & happy families was not going to be in his future. After growing up with an abusive

What a great second chance romance! When local golden girl Emma Walker had a night to remember with local bad boy and her secret crush Cam Brantley just before he went off on another tour of duty neither had envisaged their being any consequences . . . but there were! Emma has refused to say who the father of her mischievous daughter, Zoey, is but when Cam returns to town she knows it isn’t fair to keep her existence secret from him, especially as she is project managing the design and build of ...more

"Secret baby" type books have never been a favorite of mine in fact I usually find myself getting all kinds of mad at the mother for keeping the child away from his/her father, but I've enjoyed the other books in this series and I didn't want to miss a book, so I dove in to The Bad Boy's Baby. This was an interesting story, it had surprising depth and most of all while I was disappointed in the heroine's reasoning for not contacting her baby'

Emma and Cam.
It's a bit slow to start and here and there but overall a sweetly romantic read.
Emma and Cam hook up for a fling in his truck the night before he deploys. She's the goody-two-shoes girl from high school and he was the bad boy. The one night leads to her little girl Zoey. Zoey's character was well done as a believably precocious toddler.
Cam come back to town and eventually, Emma works up the courage to tell him about Zoey
Did she try to contact him? (view spoiler)

5+ stars. I absolutely LOVED this book!!! Thanks Cindi for another beautiful love story and awesome read!

Talk about a yummy storyline ..... A one night stand between Cam, the town's sexy "bad boy", home on leave from the Army, and Emma, the town's sweet "good girl". Cam leaves for another tour rotation to Afghanistan and Emma finds out she is pregnant. Cam doesn't find out about his little girl, Zoey, until three years later when he leaves Army life behind and comes home for good to help his bro

Cindi Madsden has a new fan! This was the perfect blend of falling in love and angst over what they should do and if it was the right thing. And did I mention there was a surprise baby story line? I am LOVING those right now!

Emma Walker had just enough to drink one night that she was able to talk to her high school crush at a bar the night before he was leaving on redeployment. Cam Brantley went with the flow and they had a great one night stand. He left, she stayed behind and found out she was

Being fan of Cindi Madsen and having read the last two Hope Springs book it was a no brainer to read this book. I just love all her books.
They always nicely balanced, great characters and a nice HEA for all of them. This book was no different.
But I must say when I first read the blurb I wasn’t sure how much I would like it, given that Emma had Cam’s baby and never told him until now.
But it all made sense in a way and it fit nicely, it wasn’t forced or anything. It all seemed to come a long ver

I loved the story. It's a fun read. Both Cam & Emma are amazing characters. I liked how the developed their relationship, slowly, taking their time and having fun along the way. It is and interesting book which I'd recommend to all romance lovers.

Cam and Emma had a one night together and then Cam was deployed. Emma never got a chance to tell him about his daughter. Now he is back in town and Emma must find a way to tell him. She just hopes that he tries to be a dad. Although she knows all ab

I loved this one!! It's a sweet small town second chance romance that filled me with all sorts of emotions. The way Cam interacted with Zoey and his immediate love for her was heartwarming. No excuses, no anger, just acceptance and love. It was perfect. The attraction between Cam and Emma could be felt throughout the book. I enjoyed the fact that Cam and Emma were accepting of each other just as they were, faults and all. This is truly an entertaining quick read that will leave you with a smile. ...more

This was really just ok. The ending was very rushed, the h forgave the H way too easily. And personally, I didn't find either character likable. Definitely not for me.

Emma, the one night she decides to cut loose and prove to herself her ex was wrong and she is not boring; her night ends in a glorious steam fest in Cam Brantley's truck. Cam is deploying again the next day and out at the local bar with his brother when he sees Emma. Their encounter leaves Emma with a lasting impression, now 2 years old Zoey, a blazing ball of energy.
Emma had her life planned out before she got pregnant and though it took her a couple dips and dives here and there, she moved up

The Bad Boy’s Baby by Cindi Madsen was a sweet, heartfelt tugging romance that will be sure to leave readers smiling big. This is the second book that I have read from Cindi Madsen and so I was excited to be reunited with the cast of Hope Springs.

My Review:

I really enjoyed this story. Usually secret baby stories aren't my thing, but the story on this one tempted me enough that I accepted it for review. I'm so glad that I did, because the story was excellent.

Cam and Emma had a one night stand the night before he deployed three years ago. They were both drunk, and obviously acting impulsively (Emma was NEVER the type for a one night stand, so even this small town assumes that she got pregnant via IVF). He hasn't been back to town since an

This story was everything I was hoping it would be. I love stories about second chances and especially when there is a surprise baby in the mix. I love the feelings and emotions that come out while the characters are dealing with the secrets, the hurt and betrayal, and the new found love. I loved reading about Emma, Cam, and Zoey. Cam has absolutely no idea what he is supposed to do with Zoey, but never once does he back down. I loved the dynamics of this group of people. Emm

Emma has gotten used to her new life, though she still feels overwhelmed at times. But to her it's all worth it because she has Zoey, her adorable two-year-old daughter. Her life hasn't gone as she had planned, but she's making the best of it. Until she runs into him, Zoey's father. But Cam doesn't know he's a father.

Cam is now back in town, after being honorably discharged from the Army, and ready to start the next phase of his life. He just had no idea that phase would include a daughter.

Cindi Madsen is one of my favorite authors. She has this ability to make readers or at least me, fall for a hero within ten seconds of him showing up on the page. Cam Brantley was no different. While The Bad Boy’s Baby is a standalone read, Cam’s name was mentioned in Crazy for the Competition, his brother Heath’s story. I couldn’t wait to meet the man who served his country and had a brother at home waiting on him to make a combined childhood dream come true. I will be the first to admit the se ...more

The Bad Boy's Baby is a fun and easy contemporary romance read that is a perfect addition to anyone's spring or summer reading pile.

I enjoyed the pacing of the story and I read this in just a couple of sittings. When it comes to contemporary romances, I am not a fan of complicated plots and storylines that take forever to unfold, so this did not disappoint.

Despite being described as the town's golden child, Emma is pretty tough and independent, and she has the most adorable two-year

Adorable story about second chances, about finding your home, your place in the world, learning to see all the possibilities we have within ourselves, and not to judge ourselves, or another by our history.
Because history in the small town of Hope Springs Cam and his family had. History, that he, and the other members of his family, would rather leave behind, but also history, that made Cam to swear, he would never enter into a serious relationship, and never father a child.
Emma's parents gave

What a fun read! This is also probably more realistic where a guy, Cam, with an abusive father and an absent mother would have anger issues. He is out of the military. He escaped there. Now Cam is back to work with his brother on a lodge in the mountains. Little did he know that he had a two year old daughter.

Emma is the mother of the two year old, Zoey. She is responsible, kind, hardworking and gives back to her community. She also worked hard to get a degree that would take her places. But wit

Let the refreshingly romantic sweet book cover entice you to delve into this one, my romance book-loving friends. Except for Cam’s previous mantra of “never want to be a father, because I’m afraid I’ll be like my dad” and bluntly asking the dreaded question, “Are you sure it’s really mine?”, Cam didn’t seem such a bad boy to this NetGalley reviewer. OK, I have to admit I was really hoping Emma would have at least slapped him for saying that to her, but like everything else she has been forced to ...more

I love "Bad Boy" books, but I was in for a surprise with this one.

Emma Walker is working on a resort project with Heath Brantley and his fiancee', Quinn. Unbeknownst to her, Cameron Brantley has returned from the army to become a partner. When Emma sees him, she knows she's in trouble.

Three years ago they had one wild night that resulted in her beautiful, mischievous two year old daughter, Zoey. After a couple of failed attempts to notify Cameron, she gave up. Emma never revealed the name of Zoe

A fabulous second chance romance and wonderful return to Hope Springs!

This was a sweet story, with a few ups and downs.

We have Cam and Emma, reuniting again after years of no contact. The thing was, the last contact they had created a human being, lol, and Cam had no idea.

From then on, it’s a journey for Cam to not only work to be a better person, but to learn to be a dad, something he thought he never wanted. I have to say, his interactions with his little girl were precious, and you could tell he was on the way to becoming a great dad.

My favorite stories to read are the ones involving surprising twists. There are no road maps in life, it's the little things that determine the directions taken.
