I was given an ARC of “Lion's Vineyard” by Alexandra Iff in exchange for an honest review. I have read all of her books and this one is by far different from the rest, but it’s as good as the others, maybe even better.

I loved this read and to be honest I’ve read it a few times over just because I fell in love with the story between Evie Frankel and Connor Martins.
Alexandra has managed to bring these characters to life for me. I experienced every emotion possible. I laughed, cried I even got pissed a few times.

Connor has spent the past 8 years estranged from his family, holding on to guilt so strong that he closes off completely.
Evie has spent her whole life under her mother’s manipulation and lies.
When she meets Connor after a long time, she can’t get him out of her head. She’s been told how evil he is ever since she was young.
Will Connor be able to let his guard down? Can Evie get past everything she heard?
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves intrigue, lies, love and a good HEA.

Lion's Vineyard was an amazing read and one I could not put down. Alexandra Iff pulls you in and you can feel everything the characters are going through. Connor is a very, strong, brooding character who has truly been tormented by his past and is just muddling through life until he gets a phone call concerning his ailing grandfather. In coming home to help his grandfather and save the family home he runs into Evie Frankel whose past intertwine with his. Evie is tormented by trying to make her family happy and being happy herself. For Connor and Evie, the journey to happiness is a hard one but one worth fighting for.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The way that it was laid out was interesting to me. I loved how it went back and forth from Evie to Connor, but also added Jack's pov in a couple of times. Plus you got an idea of what happened in the past, but don't get the full story really until the end. The ending killed me though cause it just leaves you wanting more. I can't wait to see what happens in the continuation!

I am having a very hard time with putting in to words the effect that this book had on me. I have read all of Alexandra Iff's books and have loved them all but this book is so different from her others. As always the writing was excellent and had a good flow for easy reading, no choppiness. The characters are deep emotionally, each fighting their own type of hell. Conner has spent some time in juvenile detention for a crime. He left his family and his home when he left incarceration. Evie is living with a mother who is evil personified. She has a rocky relationship with her only sibling and is shy and awkward in social situations.
Both of these characters are isolated and focus their feeling internally but somehow they turn to each other even when they also have a hate relationship from the past.
This book is a different tone of the authors other books but she brings her mastery of relationship description to us in her own special way of drawing the reader into the hearts and minds of the characters. I had to stop at one point just to bring my own anger and angst under control to begin reading again.
There is heat and anger and joy and unbelief as the story unfolds and is so very lifelike. I hope to encourage all of my friends to read this book and feel the emotions that run through out the story.

This was my first book by Alexandra Iff & it won't be my last!
I was drawn in from the beginning by all the secrets that this small town has & couldn't help but want to find out how & when these secrets were going to be revealed.
Connor has returned to Lion's Vineyard to visit his Grandfather that he hasn't seen or spoken to in years. He holds onto a lot of anger & guilt because of what happened all those years ago & returning home brings it all right back to the surface no matter how hard he tries to push the memories aside.
On his trip home he encounters Evie. They are immediately drawn to each other even though they both think that it's wrong. They can't fight the pull between them very long but all that has happened in the past continues to come between them.
After everything that Connor & Evie have been through in their young lives you can't help but want to see them get the HEA they both deserve.
At times while reading their story I felt all the emotions they were experiencing as well as moments of frustration at both Connor & Evie.
It made the book a very interesting read & I look forward to reading more from Alexandra.

Warning possible triggers: domestic violence, mention of rape, violence.
I liked the story of Conner and Evie. It's almost a forbidden love. Or at Evie thinks so. They have always known each other but a misunderstood event takes Conner away for eight years. When he finally returns little Evie is all grown up and catches his eye. She knows she is not supposed to go near him but he heart tells here differently.
This novel does end on a bit of a cliffhanger but it's not to severe. Mrs Iff has created a wonderful world of vineyards with magnificent colors and smells to bad that same world is fraught with small minded people. I can not wait to read the next part of Conner and Evie's story.

Lion's Vineyard is a story of loss and finding yourself again. Evie is our heroine as we follow her through her journey and to find out what really happens with her sister Maria. Then we have our hero Connor who seems to be damaged goods. There's a lot more to him than meets the eye.

When I read this, I laughed and cried in so many different parts. Evie really drew me into her world from her POV and Connor also did the same. I couldn't put this down and finished it in a matter of hours. If you love a good heart-wrenching story then this is a must read. Five stars from me!

I've read all of Alexandra's book and this one is different from the others. It has everything you would want in s book from heartache to love to mystery. The sex scenes were off the charts. I feel in love with Connor and Evie from the beginning. I laughed and cried through out the whole book I couldn't put it down. This is a must read and I hope Alexander will continue with this story.

Review:
When the modern day family feud spills over to the children following an event that could have been misunderstood, one will decide to leave his hometown to escape the accusing looks and words, and the other will suffer through the guilt of knowing that she had severely misjudged the man. In Alexandra Iff's Lion's Vineyard, Conor and Elvie are neighbours who suffer through their own personal hells and a present that forces them to deal with all of them. In Connor, I've seen a man who is unable to turn his back on his family and willing to face the accusations that drove him out of his hometown and in Elvie, I've seen a woman willing to fight her mother's manipulations to make right a wrong that never should have been in the first place. I've had the opportunity to follow Alexandra Iff for some time now and Lion's Vineyard is one novel that struck me in such a way that I couldn't put it down until the very last page. It's heartfelt, warming, makes you believe in redemption, but most of all, it's the type of story that you remember as the one that made you believe once again. It made you believe that there is still goodness in the world, that people are still willing to fight for what's right and especially, in the faith of never giving up for what you believe in. This emotional train wreck had me going from laughter to tears; heartbreak to anger, and from love to hate in a matter of chapters and as I kept turning the pages, I realized that unlike her previous novels, Lion's Vineyard is the one that will make you think twice about patience as readers are treated to an epic CLIFFHANGER (oh yes, the dreaded word). I enjoyed reading this new book from Alexandra Iff - it was completely new, almost a hidden gem, and a surprise that I look forward to reading the next instalment and finding out the future of Lion's Vineyard.

Connor Martins has been estranged from his family for eight years, but after receiving a call regarding his ailing Grandfather, he returns to his hometown. Evie Frankel lives under the control of her manipulating mother and always tries to make others happy. When these two neighbours meet, sparks fly and there is an instant attraction. But with Connor haunted by past guilt and Evie having been told that Connor hurt her family, both fight their feelings. However, Evie and Connor cannot fight the pull between them even though they believe it is wrong, but with all the secrets, lies and treachery in the small town, can Evie and Connor ever have their HEA?

Lion's Vineyard was a very interesting and enjoyable book. It was well written, flowed well and the author took the time to build the back story of the characters which I always appreciate. I loved Evie and Connor as a couple, they both had issues but were great together. There was plenty of emotion going through the book and it was easy to get caught up in Evie and Connor's journey. I'm looking forward to what Alexandra Iff has in store for these characters next.

This book was absolutely fantastic! I wasn't expecting such a deep sweet roamance story. This book had something for everyone to love humor, hot sex, plenty of action along with a full range of emotions. I was immediately drawn to the characters and that made the story flow effortlessly.

Evelyn Frankel is such a sweet well mannered girl a bit sheltered but coming from a small town that's to be expected. He family is a bit on the difficult side her mother Gladys is power hungry and really is the one who set the story in motion. Her sister Maria is no help when it comes to a major issue in the story that is kept secret, I figured it or but that only added to the story.

Connor Martin seems like your typical neighborhood boy. Him and Evie free up right next door to each other but he left for the city and made it big coming home to family problems is complicated enough and then little Evie walks back into his life and she's no longer a little girl.

Amongst the heartaches loss and roller coaster of emotions you see a deep and true romance bloom into such a beautiful relationship. This is a cliffhanger but I'm very excited to read the next book and see what happens to Evie and Connor. Over all I give this book 5 stars it was truly a pleasure to read!

I am fairly new to this author but am so glad I stumbled upon her in the vast world of Facebook and was able to read her work for an honest review and let me tell you this book is amazing and Connor is a great character and was developed really well as were all the other characters in this book. What it must have been like to return to a place you turned your back on 8 years before when the before wasn't all rainbows and unicorns to begin with but he has to help his grandfather keep his land from being pulled out from under him by Mrs. Frankel Evie's mother. Evie never thought he'd come in person to deal with the situation but both for different reasons cross a line. So what happens now? What is the fallout and do they stay together or are they pushed apart? This you have to find out for yourself by reading the book.

LION's VINEYARD is the second book I have read by the author and it certainly won't be the last. I was taken with this book from page 1 and found it very hard to put down. I read 70% in practically one sitting and only stopped as I needed to sleep.
Eight years ago Connor was accused of a barbaric crime. It tore his family apart and he left town. When his grandfather becomes ill and the family property is under threat,Connor returns to town. His grandfather Chad welcomes him with open arms but other people are not pleased about his return at all.
Evie is the sweet girl who lives next door and tries to fight her instant attraction to the man she believes upset her family. Passion, jealousy and treachery collide to create a very intense story involving these characters.
LION's VINEYARD is a well written book. Watch out fir the sequel coming later in the year

NOOOO! I cannot believe the story ended that way. I want more!!

The reader is swept up in the world of Evie and Connor. You know there is something funny going on, but the twists and turns throughout keep you guessing. Then suddenly you get a glimpse of what could have happened to set the chain of events rolling. So much abuse going on and no one says anything! How can parents allow this to go on! God help us from parents who don't teach their children to stand up for themselves and to understand what happened doesn't have to continue, nor should it. Alexandra wrote a wonderful story about a tragic event with repercussions for years and affecting so many people. I love the way it ended and am so looking forward to the next in the series.

This story is so different than any of the other I have read from Alexandra Iff.
Conner and Evie have a lot of past and presents dragons to slay to say the least.
The chemistry and connection that they have are beyond what either of them can begin to try to understand.
Evie has led a sheltered life and she always does as she is told and is always stuck in her sisters shadow.
Conner is trying to escape a past that destroyed his future and traumatic events brings him back home to face the evil that ran him away in the first place.
Will the truth come out and allow Conner and Evie to find the happiness they deserve? Or will they be consumed by the evil that lurks just beyond Lion's Vineyard...

My favorite book from Ms. Alexandra Iff yet

I LOVED this new book of Ms. Alexandra Iff. It is my favorite book of her yet. The story is so good. It is slow at first but it's getting intense as you read along. The story is so emotional. It is way better from her past writings.

There is vengeance, betrayal but above all forgiveness. You will LOVE her new characters especially the guy. This is a very unique story which is beautiful. You will get mad from other characters except the two main characters. It is a hate and love relationship. I really enjoyed reading this story so much. I am looking forward for the next story.

Another great story from this author. Connor is living with issues from the past, and is determined not to feel. Evie is under the control of her mother, and letting past events influence her. But when Evie and Connor meet again, what will happen?
The beginning of the book had me intrigued and sucked me in. I enjoyed the storyline. Written mainly from Evie and Connor's POV, you get to feel their confusion and feelings.

Alexandra has written another great story. Conner left home 8 years ago only to come back for his grandpa when he hears he is not doing well. Conner runs into Evie who has grown up with a controlling mother that has been hiding secrets the past 8 years on what truely happened to her daughter Maria 8 years ago. Lots of lies, misunderstandings finally are revealed by the end of this book. I can not wait for the next book yo come out. Well done Alexandra!!
