This book is basically an expansion of two chapters of one of Dr. Webster-Doyle's earlier books (Facing The Double-Edged Sword), the the basic explanation of the book's contents is present in the title: "Guide to Handling Bullies". It should add the word "non-violently" as that is the primary focus of the book.

The writing is clear and straight forward, easily accessible both to his target audience and to anyone else who might be reading, especially parents and teachers who might be looking for ways to help kids deal with bullying.

It comes complete with explanations, questions, advice, and role playing scenarios, and is both an interesting and valuable read.

I remembered reading one book written by the same author back when I was learning traditional karate. It was a long time ago (around 2005)! I've lately discovered other books that the author has written, and so far they seem pretty insightful. I would absolutely encourage any parents out there to hand these books to their young kids.
