"Being alive shouldn't have been a burden."
This is the conclusion to the Cursed trilogy and I'm beyond sad to see it all go. This book was incredibly deceptive. Just when I thought it couldn't get any more brutal, Amy proved me wrong and knocked the breath out of me. That's one of the things I love the most about Amy's writing. She doesn't sugar coat things and isn't afraid of letting her characters go through hell. She made me cry sometim

Damnations Door, starts off, right after heaven's gate being closed. They're in hiding, trying to come up with a plan. Constance is afraid that if Dro uses her powers it will be easier for them to find her. But Dro is struggling with this.

I felt through these books that Con and Dro had this bond with each other. It was more than sisters. It's what I really liked most about this story. That being said, I still felt the story lagged a bit.

There's a lot of action and world ending danger.

Whew! What a crazy trilogy. Amy kept me on my toes throughout all three books. There were tears, giggles, and I even ran and hugged my husband a few times just to make sure he was still there and a demon didn't appear and grab him! Amy's writing is so real and believable that the reader often feels like they are actually in the book.

Amy shows no fear of telling you like it is. The characters in the third book of the Cursed series go through Hell, no pun intended. They are faced with impossible d

The author was very consistent throughout this entire series by jumping to flashback mode without warning. This was a nice little read though.

WOW! What a thrilling conclusion to one of the best Urban Fantasy series I've read in a long time. A must read!

Damnation's Door picks up where Dark Divinity left off. Constance has succeeded in closing the Heaven Gate, a necessary evil, and one that leaves all angels on earth with the loss of their immortality. Constance needs those angels as allies, but they're-understandably-not feeling terribly friendly toward her. The previous two books effectively established the antagonists of Drake and Mateo, and of course the big guy, Lucifer himself. Taking on a fearsome bounty hunter and Mexican druglord is a t ...more
The Book Junkie Reads . . .
I've had the pleasure of reading all three book back-to-back and got the full story as it unfolded from the beginning up to this point that Constance and Andromeda feel the need to stop the vast plan the most dark one has, Lucifer.

Adult Urban Fantasy tied in with Paranormal Adventure and action. The three books flow together pick up where the one before left off. There was no mistaking the connection between the three books and the fantasy that binds them together. The build in each book to this

Thoughts: Damn that was good! As I stated in my review of book 2, I was pretty sure they would win but I wasn't really sure how and couldn't wait to find out. So worth it! Constance's deep rooted love for her sister, Andromeda, and her unwavering need to keep her safe rivaled most romance stories. Along with the unwanted trust in her friends, Sephiel, Warrick, and Max there was no doubt in

Damnation’s Door is the final book in the Cursed trilogy and what a crazy ride it has been.

Braun really seems to throw herself into her writing. The first two books are a nice build to Damnation’s Door where the climax is reached and we get a very satisfying ending, in my opinion.

Con has been through a lot to protect her sister Dru. She’s fought several bad guys and now has to face the Big Bad himself, Lucifer. Con has lost a lo

Connie and Dro are two sisters who are very close, well as close as people can get when one of them is the offspring of an angel and demon. After opening the gates of both Heaven and Hell it is up to these two sisters and their band of misfits, to fight both Lucifer and Michael, the archangel, all while trying to close the gates and keep Lucifer away from his daughter, Dro. independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

Again, I stress, read books one, Demon's Daughter and two, Dark Divinity before reading this one. You really do need it!

Now that Heaven's Gate is closed, Lucifer grows stronger and the devastation he is causing grows greater by the day. Connie, Dro, Max, Warrick and Sephiel continue to figure out what they need to do to close Hell's Gate. And the answer is something none of them expected. Help does, however, come from a
