Gabby finds herself leaving Chicago to help care for her father. She is set on not staying long in the small town she grew up in. Though many things have not changed, there is someone new to the town, Jake.
Being the only local mechanic in town leaves Gabby and Jake destined to cross paths.
He's gorgeous and charming and has her instantly fantasizing about his body. Gabby and Jake quickly heat things up but she still hold on to the idea of returning to the big city. Jake is all kinds of wonderful

Love it. I love how there is no tragic, unrealistic event that the story revolves around. The book is deep and gripping. It's thick with past pain and future happiness. There was no sickening feeling or stressful drama, making me want to yell at the characters. I love that there's no evil bad guy, or baggage about abuse in her past.
