This edition published 1964 by Harper & Row. A little nostalgic, and the writing style is a bit dated from 50 (!) years ago, but still enjoyable. The history is especially interesting. Rich waxes a bit romantic about the Yankee character.
This was a fun book to read. It was humorous, but interesting. I learned a lot of history of Maine and about several places I've already visited. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, who wants to learn about Maine in a fun and eary-to-read way.
