A wonderful resource and a great collection of short bios of fascinating women. I especially want to learn more about Osh Tish, Woman Chief, Buffalo Calf Road, the La Flesche sisters, Zitkala-Sa, and Mary Brave Bird. I'm glad I found this book.

A timeline of sorts, dates for each woman as a part of the chapter title, and a map would have been most helpful.
