Light and easy...not much angst. No BM's though it had the potential but the author didn't go there and both MC's were extremely likable. The sexy times were ok, definitely more romantic than the dirty I normally favor.

Recommended for readers looking for a light, romantic office romance.

Okay, I now have a new author to add to my M/M romance favorites list! This is the first time I've read an RJ Jones story, and I loved it :-) Loved the storyline, great characters, a bunch of sexual tension, and an ending that left me with a big smile.

I really loved Aiden and Noah. They work so well together, which made the sexual tension between them as they tried to keep things professional between them all the more gripping. I did get frustrated with Aiden from time to time, but totally under

Noah is interviewing for a new job as an architect. It's his dream job. He is instantly attracted to Aiden, his interviewer, and eventually his new co-worker. The two have a good chemistry and work well together. But office romances are frowned upon. Will they give into the attraction and risk their jobs?

I loved this story. I have read almost every thing, if not everything RJ has written, and

This book is a great example of why I love M/M romance books.

Aiden and Noah have an instant connection on the tube, but Noah turns Aiden down for a coffee date to make sure he has plenty of time to prepare for his interview. It turns out the interview is with Aiden. They fight their connection and feelings to make their jobs easier and keep the conflict out of their work environment.

Well, they try to fight it. Eventually they can’t deny the feelings they have for each other and

As the Leaves Fall by RJ Jones was, in some ways, exactly what I expected and, in others, a bit of a surprise. It’s the first in Jones’s Love for the Seasons series.

The beginning felt a bit off for me. I liked both Aiden and Noah, but I felt like the chemistry between them was forced. I kept reading how there was this instant connection/spark between them that they both couldn’t resist but it didn’t seem organic to the characters.

Noah’s finally landed his dream position, and though he’s keen to do a good job, he’s also keen on the mysterious Aiden, who flirted with him on the Tube just before his final interview - which turned out to be with Aiden! Aiden’s been burned, so he’s reticent to take a plunge into the deep end, despite his enormous attraction to his newest coworker, a man that he himself chose to hire. However, they discover that they work remarkably well together, so when a project goes awry and the two are fo ...more

Noah Walker needs a new job and he is one of the final candidates for his dream opportunity. On his way to the interview, he sees a gorgeous man that he can't help stare at. They exchange looks and end up talking and walking a short bit together when they get off the same tube stop. Aiden invites Noah for a coffee before his interview, but as much as Noah would love to, he says no so he can prepare for his interview.

What a delightfully well done, sweetly erotic and emotionally fulfilling tale. Aiden and Noah eye each on the tube. Noah is nervous as he has a job interview in an architectural firm and he desperately wants the job. They both get off at the same stop. Aiden, very attracted to Noah, asks him if he wants to have a coffee. Noah, very attracted to Aiden, demurs wanting to get to the interview site early to study his notes. I really enjoyed As the Leaves Fall, the story of the romance of Aiden & Noah. The two are architects in London who have a chance encounter while riding the Tube and have an instant attraction, but Noah is on his way to a job interview so the two leave it at that. It turns out that Noah is headed to Aiden’s family’s firm and Aiden is the interviewer. He gets the job but because of company policy and Aiden’s previ

I loved this story about two men who fall for each other but because of the workplace fight the attraction and start to build a great friendship first.

Noah has finally landed the perfect job.
On the way to the final interview, he locked eyes with this sexy guy who he has a flirtation with but later finds out that he is new boss.

Aiden has found a very cute guy but because of a past relationship almost destroying his uncle's business, he tries to keep his distance from Noah.

The story begins with Noah starting a new job at an architect firm. There is an unwritten rule at his new firm regarding romantic entanglements within the office. Noah had met Aiden on his way to his interview for the job and the two men were attracted to each other. When they realize that they will be working together, they try to ignore the attraction. What follows is the story of how they struggle and fail to keep things professional. Past relationships have left both Noah and Aiden wary and ...more

As the Leaves Fall begins with a funny encounter on the morning commute. Noah is on his way to a job interview and observes a rude and insulting man bump into an attractive man. The attractive man turns out to be the man Noah is interviewing with and karma! the rude man is his competition for the job. With that beginning we follow Noah and Aiden as they work together, become friends, and despite their concerns (for various reasons) for dating a co-worker they fall into a relationship. I couldn’t date him. I couldn’t touch him, taste him.

Oh, such delicious sexual frustration! Although RJ Jones has written some lighter romances she’s probably best known for the crushing angst of her first novel turned series, Out of the Blue. In this first book of a brand new series (Love For The Seasons) she’s taken her considerable talent for evoking emotion in both her readers and her characters and used it to bury these poor MCs in a landslide of unfulfilled, scorching attraction.

I love As the Leaves Fall with Aiden and Noah. What starts out as a little eye googling between two strangers using the same transportation, quickly turns into partners on the job when they end up at the same company.

Another Two-For-One

Sorry if this annoys you but I can't write a separate review for each book--you simply have to read the first one because it's so terrific, and then you must read the second because of the MC who was so apparently creepy and crummy in the first.

Aiden (foreground on the cover) and Noah bump into each other coming off the subway in London, strike each other as hot, and go their separate ways. Not quite. Read the blurb of "As the Leaves Fall" for the outline. What is key here is

Original Blog Post: Happy Happy Release Day!!! Review Request: As The Leaves Fall (Love for the Seasons Book 1) by RJ Jones

As the Leaves Fall is a zero angst romantic story set in a workplace. Well, there was some bit of angst but it wasn't overwhelming. This story focuses on the relationship between two architects working in the same firm and were on the same team. Although there were workplace policies that legally protect their situation, the unwritten one was a bit more powerful: no romantic

I almost passed this book up because the cover reminded me of a historical, which I tend to avoid. Boy, am I glad I read the blurb. This is definitely modern days and the protagonists were pretty freaking awesome. Don’t judge a book by its cover people. Woo, crisis averted.

I totally adored the beginning of this story and the way Aiden and Noah first met. Sometimes fate makes decisions for us, and in this case she chose correctly. Aiden and Noah work together, never a good thing,

The book starts with Noah going to a job interview and meeting Aiden, who ends up being the person who is going to interview him. Sparks fly since the moment they meet but Aiden, remembering a bad experience he had with his ex, who used to work with him, chooses to deny his attraction towards Noah. Noah, on the other hand, doesn't know how to handle Aiden's hot and cold attitude. But he's not one to avoid a problem and he's determined to see where things go with him.

This is a pretty good story…nothing too earth-shattering that you haven’t read before. It was a quick read and little predictable but still good. I really liked that the angst was pretty low and there was no silly miscommunication or lack of communication that caused a misunderstanding.

Very enjoyable story of Noah taking a new job and finding himself deeply attracted to his co-worker.
Aiden is equally smitten with Noah, but there is a strict company policy on dating co-workers in the company, thanks to Aiden, who did this previously and the breakup caused the loss of a major client. Aiden runs hot and cold to Noah trying to keep himself away from him, but finally they can't hold back any longer. Now the question is which one is going to lose their job for breaking the rules?
