I love the Easter Beagle!

After reading the book I hardly remembered the movie. I knew that Snoopy was the Easter Beagle but I could not remember all of the little details. I like how difficult it was for Marcie bowl an egg. I like how Lucy was all about getting presents. Most of all I liked how Linus was certain that the Easter Beagle would come just like the Great Pumpkin. I did feel sorry for Charlie Brown because he was the only one who did not get an Easter Egg, but then again he has all th

Illustrated in color, this is a classic Peanuts holiday story. Linus is looking forward to the arrival of the Easter Beagle, after having been disappointed by the Great Pumpkin. Meanwhile Sally has no shoes suitable for the holiday and Peppermint Patty has high hopes of teaching Marcie how to color eggs. The gang is all here, and in fine form. I do wish there was less blank space on many of the pages, but it's a cute book with more pictures than words, so perfect for the younger crowd.

Marcie has a difficult time making Easter eggs and it is rather funny. First she fries eggs, the next attempts lead to the waffle iron, toaster, oven and cracking eggs into boiling water. Thank goodness the Easter Beagle can help! Charlie Brown reflects the importance of people being together for holidays.

It's not quite true to the television special. But the stickers in the front and the colorful art work make it worth the $1.99. A lot of good information. Teaches how to pain eggs and other basics of Easter. Purchased at Phoenix outlet mall on Spring Training Tour.

Cute! This is one of those stories that my daughter wants me to read over and over again. And with Easter this month it was requested often.

We are not big Charlie Brown fans so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that we didn't really like this book.

I would have liked more direct quotes from the episode itself. But it was still very good.
