This is a sequel to A Christmas Auction and continues the story of Xan and Gil.

We find out more about Xan and his background, the reason why he needs someone to watch over him being that he's a painter who tends to get "lost" in his work. Gil is a pushy Dom who doesn't accept Xan hiding from him, but I liked the way he was falling for Xan at the same time. Apparently there is going to be another sequel and I look forward to reading it.

This takes place immediately following Christmas Auction. Gil takes Xan home and starts to get to know him. Xan is an artist, one of those typical Sean Michael artists who gets to caught up in their work they lose touch with reality. What a lovely story

What a Merry Christmas to have ..Two people get what they wished for all year......each other...A master finds his sub...And the sun find a master who he has wanted for 3 years sweet
I am going to be fair here, although I have only rated 3 stars, it is probably partly because after I had bought it and partly read it, I realised that it was a sequel, but I cannot yet get hold of the Christmas Auction.
The story such as it was, was enjoyable, but the beginning didn't quite work for me and the end felt a little rushed too.

Typical Sean Michael BDSM

Rating: 8/10

- Xan (the sub) is weird and complex and fascinating. He says these odd, cryptic things sometimes that made me stop reading and just sit and ponder for a while. Michael has certainly captured the frenetic energy of an eccentric artist with this character.
- There’s lots of sex, as is typical of this author. But it’s passionate and hot, and the story was just the right length that I di
