So I try to stay away from box sets with multiple authors for the exact reason I found here. See I found myself unable to invest in any one story because I got some 100 pages and BOOM...to be continued in the rest of the series. I admit that I could have loved each and every story here...honestly, but as soon as I got invested the story was over. This box set is great for anyone wanting to get a taste of the paranormal genre but for a shifter lover I wanted to finish each and every story. I was half tempted to go on a one-click frenzy to scoop up all the books in series but instead I will keep these many authors in my "to be read" file for a later date.

My review is for ALPHA MINE by Lila Felix...
"I knew. I knew the moment I saw you approach the alter that I was going to have a hell of a time giving you up. But the more time I have you here, the more I don’t think that is going to be possible at all."

Ahhh shifters. I love them so much. Some of my absolute favorites are ones that Felix has brought to life in her Bayou Bear Chronicles. I especially love shifters when they have a forbidden'ish love thrown in. So you better believe I was excited to read ALPHA MINE and see if these two characters will be able to make it past the “I do’s” of their arranged marriage or will one of them somersault on their plans before the agreed to time.
And Felix once again proves she can write a New Adult book, giving off some major (major) heat waves, without compromising her integrity that she has become known for over the years. She always writes a clean romance and I love her for it. But this one was smokin’ for one of her books yet it was absolutely perfect for this type of read. Well done.
ALPHA MINE is a quick but wonderful read. I love the chemistry between the male and female leads and would love to see more stories for them in the future. They are the type of characters that hang with you long after the story is gone. 5 Smokin’ Hot Stars!

The Alpha’s Courtship – Marian Tee
If you are looking for a paranormal with a new twist, this is it! Ilie Marcovici, part demon, part human, part wolf shifter, has come to the aide of Lady Soleil. Unknown to him previously, she is his destined heartkeeper. Even though she has known this fact for numerous years, she has not made it known, or called upon him, for reasons she refuses to tell anyone. In a life or death battle, she finds herself in a position that the only way to save her troupes, is to finally open her heart and call upon her Marquis. How he reacts to this new found knowledge will surely have you chomping at the bit. Be prepared, this is part one of a series, therefore, we are left in the lurch as we patiently, or not so patiently, wait for part two. Great read. Looking forward to the next part.
Can’t Quit Lion – Lynn Red
A short tale from the Mating Call Dating Agency series that won’t disappoint. In this episode, we encounter Rex and Sheena, two lion shifters that are more than ready to find their soul mates. Stuck in a “dead-end job” as a clerk, Sheena’s life is about to change forever, all because of one phone call from one very sexy, raspy, deep voice on the other end. As soon as Rex hears her voice, he knows he will have to find her. After loosing connection during their phone call, and not being able to reach her again, Rex enlists the help of the Mating Call Dating Agency in finding her. All he has is her first name and where she works. Sheena can’t stop thinking of her mystery voice, and she doesn’t even know his name….
Another great read from this series. Loved it!
Wolves and Bears and Foxes, Oh My! – Kate Richards
A wonderful, quirky tale that involves a curvy, human female, out with her friends for her bachelorette party with her two friends, only to come across her fiancé doing the horizontal mumbo with someone else in the middle of the public area of the club. After crying on the club owner’s shoulder, she feels drawn to him in a way that she was never drawn to anyone else. So much action with a few unexpected twists thrown in for good measure, you won’t want to miss out on this book. Awesome!
Bear With Me – Dominique Eastwick
Awwww! If ever there was a true love story, this must be it. This is the first opportunity I have had to read this author’s work, and what an honour it was. Well written with a nice easy flow and of course, the happy ever after ending. Quinn, an park ranger with no family, loves her job, and lately, she seems to be collecting grizzly bears as she goes. If only she knew! Brutus, the grizzly alpha, has been watching her, keeping her under his protection, waiting for the perfect timing to sweep her off her feet, because, what the heck….his bear realizes she’s his mate!
A great short read that will have your heart swelling with love.
Breathless for Her Bear – Ever Coming
Yet another great story with a new twist. Another new author to me, and another I hope to read more from. A sweet tale of a woman with an ex who used and abused her for a decade, only to finally flee from his hold to try and move on with her life in a small town twelve hours away from the big city she’s lived in pretty much her entire life. When Malory stops for a quick bite to eat, she never expects to have a life-changing experience at the diner. But all bets are off as soon as Al walks in the door. Believing he belongs to another, she hightails it out of there, even forgetting to pay her bill. As soon as Al spots the curvy beauty, he knows she belongs to him and his bear. Will they be able to work everything out and live a cozy life together? Lots of action and excitement going on in this book that you absolutely won’t want to miss. Loved it!
Alpha Mine – Lila Felix
A great little story that tells us of how we should truly listen to our inner self and follow our hearts. Talia wants to be independent, go to school and teach, but the archaic rules of Kolani’s clan would have her forgo her dreams and remain barefoot and pregnant, an unpaid and overused housekeeper/chef, homemaker. But Kolani hopes to change those old ways and bring his clan into the present, and he needs a strong mate by his side to do so. His wolf knows Talia is his, now all he has to do is convince her! My only disappointment is that I would have liked a bit more at the end….just because, but it is still a great read!
Lion to Herself – Dara Fraser
A great tale, changing up the usual wolf or bear for a lion clan. I love the way the author has given Fate a run for her money with the heroine of this story. Zara doesn’t want to take Fate’s choice for her laying down. She wants, and has always wanted, to have a choice in who she would fall in love with and spend, hopefully, the rest of her days with. But when the time comes, and Dylan more or less tumbles into her path, she has to accept the fact that Fate was always going to decide for her.
A great introduction to what hopefully becomes an even better series. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of this couple, but hope to see them in the next episode. Loved it!
Alpha Protecting – Becca Vincenza
From a stern, single shifter that wants to stay that way, to a rare tiger that only wants his mate, Quentin has learned the true meaning of just what a mate will and can do for you once you find her. Winnie has been on the run from her overbearing, controlling ex for quite some time now, and she knows better than to get too comfortable in any one spot, but when she first meets Quentin, she knows he’s different from any other man she has ever met before. When she starts to feel different from the inside, she truly doesn’t know what to expect. After being accosted in the back alley at work, she discovers a whole new world out there, and Quentin is a big player in what is to soon become her new life.
This author has created and gifted to us, a wonderful tale, giving us an insight as to just how fast our lives can change, whether it is for the better or not, we will never know until we experience it. Loved this cute little story.
Encounter in the Jungle – Lisbeth Frost
Survivor, animal version. What a wonderful new concept for paranormal. Love, love, love this story. Neither Mason or Bianca knew each other going into the “show”, but it sure didn’t take long for them to get acquainted. After finally settling in, they slowly progress into a wonderful relationship that neither of them seen coming. Well written, this short is definitely an easy read.
Bear with a Sore Head – Syke Jones
From bear shifters and human mates to fae, good and bad, this short will have you rolling in laughter and heated with hot steamy sex and falling in love despite all the odds. While out paroling the parameters of his land, Brenin scents what he can only decipher to be his possible mate. Her sweet smell has him almost falling all over himself to get to her. The only problem…his bear has frightened her and she’s fallen and hurt herself. He has no other choice but to shift back to man and bring her home to take care of her before she freezes. Charlotte, aka Charlie, wakes up to find herself in a strange house, with some very large, very handsome men. With the exception of another female, she’s feeling very “Goldilocks and the three bears”, only these aren’t bears….or are they? Be prepared to fall down the rabbit hole and enjoy the ride as we follow Charlie and Bren on their journey to love.
Wolf Snatched – Marissa Farrar
Sometimes you just have to go out on a limb and take what you really want, even if you know it will totally piss someone off. Cole knew the moment he scented Alyssa that she was meant to be his. But, he also knew that her weasel of an alpha wouldn’t let her go, he wanted her for himself. So, he does what he knows…he took. Alyssa is totally disgusted with her obnoxious alpha. He makes her skin crawl whenever he leers at her and all of her curves. But when she’s abducted, she’s not too sure what would be her worst fate, with her alpha, or her captor? Will he kill her? Or worse, rape and torture her?
This juicy short is full of intrigue and lots of action, with a bit of shifter torture of the best method. A great tale you won’t want to miss. Well done

11 Sexy Novellas from a great list of authors - each one worth 5 stars!!
1. The Alpha’s Courtship; A Werewolf Duke Romance – Marian Tee - 5 stars
In the kingdom of Chalys – Marquis di Lunare has come to court his heartkeeper, but he has to find her first as Soleil leads him on a merry chase. Once he “catches” her, he courts her and drives her wild with his demonic skills. In a land where milord and milady is the title of the day there is danger, intrigue and hidden consequences for these two – part 1 of a serial.
2. Can’t Quit Lion – Lynn Red – 5 stars
Sheena works at Dwyer’s Print shop Supply and takes a call about an unusual shirt printing request. Rex, who is ordering the shirts as a joke, laughs with and falls for Sheena during the conversation. He enlists some help in getting to know Sheena. Full of humor and snarky repartee not to mention lion hotness. Totally fun story!!
3. Wolves and Bears and Foxes, Oh My! An Evening at Animals – Kate Richards – 5 stars
Karma is going to first and probably only night at a club. She just turned 21 and a combo birthday/bachelorette party may be her last evening out as her fiancé Theo did not like to party. Having sudden qualms over imminent MBA, joining her dad’s firm and impending marriage – she intends to have one night out with her girlfriends at the best-kept-secret venue near Phoenix. Turns out she only knows about it because she found the card in Theo’s pocket and the club does not cater to humans……. Super-sexy, fun read.
4. Bear With Me – Dominique Eastwick – 5 stars
Quinn is a ranger at Yellowstone Park, and currently handling crowd control when a mam bear and her two cubs appear. She also sees an unlikely grizzly in the area – not the first time, in fact her co-workers were calling her grizzly-Quinn. A run-in with some black bears creates a situation where Quinn is rescued and must come face to face with a Grizzly who is out to get her. Having been to Yellowstone a few times this story especially peaks my interest. Love the concept, and excellent execution!!
5. Breathless for Her Bear – Ever Coming – 5 stars
Malory is traveling to a new internship opportunity, and along the way stops at a remote diner form lunch. At the diner she strikes up a friendship with the waitress April, and gets swept off her feet by April’s brother Al. Upon arrival at her B&B she is told a Christina she does not know shortened her stay to 4 days, her ex-boyfriend maxed out her credit card and emptied her bank account, then was informed her mate would not be happy. What?
Turns out Al is more than meets the eyes – AND so is her ex-boyfriend. The struggle to resolve the thefts and additional wrongs turns out to be more complicated than expected. Humor-filled events add to the enjoyment of this fun, sexy read.
6. Alpha Mine – Lila Felix - 5 stars
We meet Talia as she is about to be married to Kolani; a marriage arranged when she was 6 years old to assure the future of clan relations. Kolani was a celebrity bachelor and as the Alpha’s only son, became Alpha and CEO of the largest exported in Hawaii at his Father’s passing. They had an agreement of a ring and three months – which was all the time they needed to survive. Afterwards Talia would get her freedom and be away from the ways of the wolf. Kolani would not mate her as she was not his true mate – though he once thought she was. His wolf differed, he wanted her more than anything in his life.
With Talia in his home, Kolani realizes he has been working 24 hours a day. Talia is tempted by Kolani, but his clan thinks women are only good for having babies, and she is not willing to live that way. Watching these two duke it out is both touching, heart-wrenching and sexy!
7. Lion to Herself – Dara Fraser – 5 stars
Zara was told stories of fates and mates by her grandfather, but decided she wanted to live in a city, be a computer genius and pick her own boyfriends. After achieving that her lion felt trapped, so she decides to get a fresh start in Lionville. Before she can go she checks out a diner which is just opening, and gets more than is on the menu. Fun, sexy, fighting fate story.
8. Alpha Protecting – Becca Vincenza – 5 stars
Winifred works at a bar and one evening while taking out the trash sees a transaction between shifter sellers. She is hiding in her apartment when her “friends” come to check on her. Unfortunately all is not as it seems and she is then attacked in her apartment. A Customer and friend of the bars owner who had been intrigued by her, comes to the rescue – Quentin, and his white tiger as he had determined she was his mate. Winnie is a latent – she does not know what her animal is – and will not until she mates. Danger, mystery and scorching fun!
9. Encounter in the Jungle (Shifter survival)– Lisbeth Frost – 5 stars
We enter a reality TV show “Shifter Survival”. Bianca, tiger-shifter and Mason, fox-shifter must work together to survive for 15 days to “win”. Tiger wants to sleep in the trees and fox want on the ground. They laugh at themselves when food nor fire are forthcoming the first day. As they huddle in a storm, Bianca notices how “good” Mason smells…he should not be detectable by her human nose unless he was releasing a mating pheromone. It wasn’t the full moon, so that meant –she was going into heat? As these two deal with both survival and the lure of the heat – we are treated to a fun, sexy story.
10. Bear with a Sore Head – Skye Jones - 5 stars
We meet Charlie an insurance underwriter lost on the moors, when her sales team was out on a team-building exercise and she stopped to look at a rare red squirrel. She and her gimpy steps went in search of the others when twisted her ankle on a root – on her bad leg, no less and then runs into a bear. When it comes to sniff her she passes out.
Bear-shifter Brenin knows her scent says “mate” – he doesn’t want a mate, and certainly not a human one. His mom never accepted the change so his dad watched her grow old and die. Can these two work out their differences, and will the fae ruin things between them?

Alyssa is running errands in town as the lowest wolf in the pack. She just turned 18 and was fearful her Alpha Gregory was going to claim her regardless of his already mated status. She has a tire blow out on the return trip – and sees nails when she checks – it was a setup! A strong, stunning man throws her in the truck of his car and drives her to an abandoned barn. Cole, a lone wolf, believes Alyssa should be queen, not lowest of the pack. But he needs to keep her long enough to convince her…. and her Alpha is coming.

4. Bear With Me – Dominique Eastwick – 5 stars
Quinn is a ranger at Yellowstone Park, and currently handling crowd control when a mam bear and her two cubs appear. She also sees an unlikely grizzly in the area – not the first time, in fact her co-workers were calling her grizzly-Quinn. A run-in with some black bears creates a situation where Quinn is rescued and must come face to face with a Grizzly who is out to get her. Having been to Yellowstone a few times this story especially peaks my interest. Love the concept, and excellent execution!!
5. Breathless for Her Bear – Ever Coming – 5 stars
Malory is traveling to a new internship opportunity, and along the way stops at a remote diner form lunch. At the diner she strikes up a friendship with the waitress April, and gets swept off her feet by April’s brother Al. Upon arrival at her B&B she is told a Christina she does not know shortened her stay to 4 days, her ex-boyfriend maxed out her credit card and emptied her bank account, then was informed her mate would not be happy. What?
Turns out Al is more than meets the eyes – AND so is her ex-boyfriend. The struggle to resolve the thefts and additional wrongs turns out to be more complicated than expected. Humor-filled events add to the enjoyment of this fun, sexy read.
6. Alpha Mine – Lila Felix - 5 stars
We meet Talia as she is about to be married to Kolani; a marriage arranged when she was 6 years old to assure the future of clan relations. Kolani was a celebrity bachelor and as the Alpha’s only son, became Alpha and CEO of the largest exported in Hawaii at his Father’s passing. They had an agreement of a ring and three months – which was all the time they needed to survive. Afterwards Talia would get her freedom and be away from the ways of the wolf. Kolani would not mate her as she was not his true mate – though he once thought she was. His wolf differed, he wanted her more than anything in his life.
With Talia in his home, Kolani realizes he has been working 24 hours a day. Talia is tempted by Kolani, but his clan thinks women are only good for having babies, and she is not willing to live that way. Watching these two duke it out is both touching, heart-wrenching and sexy!
7. Lion to Herself – Dara Fraser – 5 stars
Zara was told stories of fates and mates by her grandfather, but decided she wanted to live in a city, be a computer genius and pick her own boyfriends. After achieving that her lion felt trapped, so she decides to get a fresh start in Lionville. Before she can go she checks out a diner which is just opening, and gets more than is on the menu. Fun, sexy, fighting fate story.
8. Alpha Protecting – Becca Vincenza – 5 stars
Winifred works at a bar and one evening while taking out the trash sees a transaction between shifter sellers. She is hiding in her apartment when her “friends” come to check on her. Unfortunately all is not as it seems and she is then attacked in her apartment. A Customer and friend of the bars owner who had been intrigued by her, comes to the rescue – Quentin, and his white tiger as he had determined she was his mate. Winnie is a latent – she does not know what her animal is – and will not until she mates. Danger, mystery and scorching fun!
9. Encounter in the Jungle (Shifter survival)– Lisbeth Frost – 5 stars
We enter a reality TV show “Shifter Survival”. Bianca, tiger-shifter and Mason, fox-shifter must work together to survive for 15 days to “win”. Tiger wants to sleep in the trees and fox want on the ground. They laugh at themselves when food nor fire are forthcoming the first day. As they huddle in a storm, Bianca notices how “good” Mason smells…he should not be detectable by her human nose unless he was releasing a mating pheromone. It wasn’t the full moon, so that meant –she was going into heat? As these two deal with both survival and the lure of the heat – we are treated to a fun, sexy story.
10. Bear with a Sore Head – Skye Jones - 5 stars
We meet Charlie an insurance underwriter lost on the moors, when her sales team was out on a team-building exercise and she stopped to look at a rare red squirrel. She and her gimpy steps went in search of the others when twisted her ankle on a root – on her bad leg, no less and then runs into a bear. When it comes to sniff her she passes out.
Bear-shifter Brenin knows her scent says “mate” – he doesn’t want a mate, and certainly not a human one. His mom never accepted the change so his dad watched her grow old and die. Can these two work out their differences, and will the fae ruin things between them?
11. Wolf Snatched – Marissa Farrar - 5 stars
Alyssa is running errands in town as the lowest wolf in the pack. She just turned 18 and was fearful her Alpha Gregory was going to claim her regardless of his already mated status. She has a tire blow out on the return trip – and sees nails when she checks – it was a setup! A strong, stunning man throws her in the truck of his car and drives her to an abandoned barn. Cole, a lone wolf, believes Alyssa should be queen, not lowest of the pack. But he needs to keep her long enough to convince her…. and her Alpha is coming.

The Alpha's Courtship by Marian Tee---There is a kingdom where all of the female residents dress in corsets and petticoats. They use carriages and have tea parties and balls. They also have a mating custom called heartkeeper. The Marquis knows who his heartkeeper is and she may be hard to convince that he is worthy of her.
Can't Quit Lion by Lynn Red---Sheena works at a tee shirt print shop. Rex calls to order shirts for a bachelor party. After they stop laughing about the naughty design and other funny jokes they lose the phone signal. Sheena really loved Rex's voice and his corny jokes. Will he call back?
Wolves and Bears and Foxes, Oh My! By Kate Richards---Karma and her friends are going to a new club. It's way out in the desert and they are getting colder. The Bouncer wouldn't let Karma use the landline because he thinks she will let her friends in. He feels sorry for her and lets her in. Karma finally finds an open door and tries to find a landline. She finally finds one and before she can make the call, two women come into the hall. They started kissing and Warren finds them. He tells them to go back inside. He tells her to leave, but she still needs to call a cab. She walks around the outside of the club and finds an open door that puts her inside the club. She can't believe her eyes. What does she see? Now she only wants to leave the club, but there is another problem.
Bear With Me by Dominique Eastwick---One of the park rangers walks closer to Mama Bear and her two cubs and gets the feeling that she is being watched. As she talks to one of the guests, she sees a grizzly bear looking at her. Lately she has noticed more grizzlies out of their section of the park and always in sight of Quinn. Are they stalking her? That's silly, isn't it?

I have Love/Hate feelings for anthologies. On one hand, when I got my first Kindle, my usual authors wrote books for series and new works weren’t released often so I was always looking for new stuff to read. Anthologies introduced me to short stories written by unknown to me authors and led me to search for more works from them. If I liked what I read. I now have a much larger author base to choose books from!
On the other hand, I now hate anthologies because I will purchase them for one of the authors published in the book and either am disappointed in what said author wrote, or find that the rest of the stories aren’t my cup of tea at all.
1) Marian Tee — The Alpha’s Courtship 3
Well, it certainly took a few or more pages to get a grip on the world Ms. Tee created, but once I had a good idea about it I enjoyed the story greatly. However, as with many anthologies and box sets, the story was too short and seems like a serial. Yes, there is more to the story going to be released, which is good, but I always get angry with serials and that is unfortunately the taste left in my mouth when it ended. Yes, I will probably purchase the book Ms. Tee said was the prequel of sorts to this story, The Demon Duke and I (Duke of Brimstone #1), but I haven’t read it yet.
2) Lynn Red — Can’t Quit Lion 4
This story was pretty good. It totally made me laugh and was worth the read!
3) Kate Richards — Evening at Animal’s 4
I was very confused initially because Karma’s fiancé’s name was Theo but apparently her mother loved Derek. Who’s Derek? All right, after that moment of confusion, this was a pretty good story. I loved how Karma thought the shifters were aliens! I love stories with a good laugh, and this one certainly had more than one.
4) Dominique Eastwick — Bear With Me 5
I LOVED this story! I have to say, as usual, Ms. Eastwick has sucked me into her story proving again how talented she is. I would love to read more from her Bears!
5) Ever Coming — Breathless For Her Bear 5
You know, I was prepared to not like this story based on the author’s Pen Name, Ever Coming. I was wrong. This is a great story! I was so involved with it on logged on to Amazon and bought her story that comes before this one. Technically, this is Cedarville Shifters, #2, so I bought the first one in this series. I was very entertained.
6) Lila Felix — Alpha Mine 3
Did I love this? No. Did I hate this? Mostly not. It was ok.
7) Dara Fraser — Lion to Herself 4.5

You know, I liked this one so much that even before finishing it I went to Amazon looking for more of her work and whether there were more stories in this universe. I did find a story with two characters mentioned in this story. The problem being the story was published with a different publisher and the book it was in is out of print. Sighs.

Omg I was just getting into this and it's stops at a blooming cliffhanger. Dam it how long do I have to wait to see what happens? :) the scenes were hot and I soo want them to get it on fully. BUT there is a reason she is resisting him even though she wants to. So what will happen next?

You have heard of love at first site? Well this is love at first voice :) they knew there was something there just by talking on the phone. I think Rex and Sheena are the funniest couple I have ever come across. Just the way they are and there humour I enjoyed reading there story.

Karma and Warren what can I say? Everything works out in the end and it definately did with Karma. I love Bear shifters Warren hubba hubba.

Stranded in the jungle for a TV show what could happen? These 2 shifter go into the jungle for a reality tv show. But is it love or just in heat? I both loved and hated the ending to this.

Both Brenin and Charlie had to get over passed fear to be able to move on as mates. I felt sad for Charlie on how her last boyfriend treated her and others in her passed. Brenin reminded her she is a beautiful wanted women even with his fears of me mates with a human.

I already a fan of Marissas and this didn't disappoint. It's a funny way of proving to your mate you belong but it worked hahaha.

This is a collection of 11 BBW shifter stories written by a variety of authors. I've only managed to read a few but they were really enjoyable, and will add others as I get to read them. Here are my reviews for some of the stories I have read:
Wolves and Bears and Foxes, Oh My! by Kate Richards
-Curvy Karma decides to go to the mysterious club outside Phoenix for her bachelorette night, where her fiancé likes to frequent. It's very popular and very busy, so they decide to call a cab and go somewhere else.
-Warren Ursa is owner of Animals Nightclub and is manning the door when a human asks about using a phone. His wary as humans are always trying to get inside to see what goes on. But her scent appeals to him and his bear, and he breaks his own rule, no humans in the building.
-A shifter's club allows their clientele to let lose and thats not all that goes on, as Karma sees her cheating fiancé been faithless. So will the bear that arouses all those feelings in her, become her leap of faith.
Bear With Me by Dominique Eastwick
-Quinn is a park ranger for the Yellowstone National Park. A park known for its majestic beauty and breath taking views. Quinn loves everything about her job. She even has a uncanny knack for finding grizzlies, not really understanding how. Until one day she stumbles across a close encounter of the bear kind, and is thrown into a world she never imagined existed.
-Brutus has been waiting and watching his mate from afar for way too long, not sure how to go about explaining things to her. Then she is attacked, and he is forced to defend her, bringing her into his world. But they get more troubles when Quinn takes time deciding if she is going to be his Beta.
-As the Alpha, Brutus has to convince her to be his mate, that he will make her very happy, and she will have a new family. Their family.

She's confused about what's going on, yet everyone else doesn't seem to have that problem. Fate has a weird way of bringing those destined for each other together.

-Mal decides that after living with her useless boyfriend for 10 years she's had enough, and leaves to start afresh. On her trip to meet her new boss, she stops off to get something to eat. She has a strange encounter with a man who makes her hot and bothered. She gets out of there as soon as possible. A couple hours later she lands up at her destination, and finds a whole lot of other complications and strange happenings going on around her. She's confused about what's going on, yet everyone else doesn't seem to have that problem. Fate has a weird way of bringing those destined for each other together.

So many alpha's so little time!! *sigh* I received this boxed set for my honest review and haven't been able to put it down! Each story is gripping and and full of alpha-maleness! It's hot, sexy and just plain shifter-yumminess! There are Lions, Tigers and Bears...OH MY! *giggles* oh and a honey-badger that is one kick-ass woman who winds up shifting for the first time to protect her mate from her ass-hat (the author's words, not mine) ex-boyfriend....Trust me, it's a scene that will warm your heart and leave you laughing and swooning!! Oh, and the Lions?? Yeah those?? They are some goofy but loveable shifters that feel the pull from just a phone call...and what happens after will have you laughing and wishing for your own lion. The Yellowstone shifter community protects the lands and has their own sections for the bears, elk, and other shifters...but when you throw in a curvy park ranger and some adolescent teen bears messing with her, you better believe her alpha-bear mate will come charging to the rescue.
Honestly, each story is wonderful and a happy for now ending that I would gladly follow each author to hope they continued their stories within this boxed set. I am sucker for romance and shifters so this was a wonderful gift to be able to read. I received this book from Lynn Red for an honest review. In this book we meet Shenna Boudreaux and Rex Steele. Shenna works in a T-Shirt and silks printing company and when Rex calls in his order Shenna enthralled with his voice. She wants to know more about him but was unable to get his name or number before they were disconnected. She had told him to use her call back number to reach her but when she doesn't hear from him she thinks that it was all one sided.
Rex knows he has found an amazing woman if only he could figure out this call back system she told him to use. He tries calling her again and again at the store but begins to feel like a stalker when he can't reach her there again. Unable to find any other way to get in touch with her he tries Mating call to see if they can help him. Dora of course sees herself and Monty and the way they started out so she agrees to help Rex. When Rex does finally get a chance to meet that amazing voice in person he knows she is his mate and he will do anything for her and to get her.
This is one of the great short stories in this collection. All of these authors are a must read and once you read even one of these stories you know you will be looking for more from these authors. I would absolutely recommend this box set to anyone and everyone. If you haven't read all of these authors it will give you a great way to check them out and if you have you will read some amazing stories but some of your favorites.

This story was a bit different from most paranormal romances, it included historical fiction as well. Soleil Orpheline is a gently bred young lady by day and a kick-ass demon fighter by night. She is also the heartkeeper to the Marquis de Lunare, half-wolf/half-demon. She has known this since she was 15 and has avoided the man since. She is forced to call on him in the middle of a deadly fight or risk her life and the lives of her team. I thought it was pretty interesting, but it ended too soon.

This is a Mating Call book, of which I love. Got more Dora in this book and not enough Eve. Two lion shifters, Sheena & Rex meet over the phone and there is an immediate attraction. So much so that Rex goes to Mating Call to help him meet Sheena because knows she is the One. Sometimes when you know, you know right?

It is not often anymore I read box sets because I have so much waiting to be read. It has to be a intriguing set of authors like this one that can lure me to one. Once I opened the pages I just could not stop. I found between chuckles and fanning myself I would quickly be in another story. I love paranormal so this one had quite a mix of shifters for my appetite. I also found I was partial to the bears in the stories because it told more of their ways. I really liked how many had how they came across their mate or knew she was the one. The different acceptances from the mates were just right for the characters portrayed like for example Dominique's girl when she realizes she is not hallucinating, joking about rule books and learning about the beta. The best part too was the teeth and wowzer what she does with them. Each one is a different flavor by these authors with a style that is unique to them that takes their characters with bringing them to life that you wrapped around them right away. Disappointed when one ended but realizing another delight starts. In this world they have their own ways that leave you knowing they will be cherished for life. So by the time I reached the last page I realized I had not read one this scrumptious in quite awhile and glad I took the time to indulge.

Wolf Snatched by Marissa Farrar is my favorite so far. I must admit I am jumping around the order a bit.
Alyssa is not happy in the pack she is in but her only family (both her brothers) are also in the same pack and so she is putting up with the way things are going. Having just turned 18 she will soon be mated and there really isn't anyone in her pack that she wants to be mated to especially not her Alpha. Cole kidnaps Alyssa because he knows she is his mate. So exciting.
Marian Tee is now a new author that I can't wait to read more of.

4 Stars = I liked it.
Anthologies are always difficult for me to rate. This one had several stories that I really enjoyed. While some stories hit a better cord than others, I can't say that this collection had any stories that I skimmed, skipped, or hated. The stories that stick out in my mind most were:
"Bear With Me" by Dominique Eastwick.
Loved wearbear Brutus and his mate Quinn. Of course the setting of Yellowstone topped the story off for me.
"Breathless for Her Bear" by Ever coming
Loved the way Mal met her mate Al in the diner.
"Alpha Protecting" by Becca Vincenza.
I liked the twist in shifter lore regarding latent shifters

Ok I haven't read all of them YET but I read Can't Quit lion by Lynn Red
It was great! She is one of my favorite writers so I had to read that one first lol.
Sheen is a cat shifter and works at a tee shirt printing shop when a calls about a tee shirt and they hit it off. You could say it was love a first sound! Lol
BUT they got disconnected before they could finish talking.
Rex Steels is desperate to find sheen he will even go to the mating call dating agency and beg them to help.
I love Rex both characters seem great. The story is funny and light hearted. It made for a very fun read and a great add to my shifter library now I am off to read the rest of the storys.

I have been unable to put this book down since I received it.Each story has it’s own interests, as each authors writing style is different. Marian Tee’s is along the lines of a Regency story.Bear with me by Dominique Eastwick is a bear shifter , human female ranger story. The one that had me laughing out loud was Lynn Red’s Can’t Quit Lion. This book is well worth the price and if you like these authors this is the way to get them all together.I was gifted a copy for an honest review barwatts@telus.net

Shifters finding their soulmates? Oh my yes!! In some of these breathtaking stories it is just the beginning of a longer story that I feel the need to look further into and others there is the HEA that we all have come to love. All had me on the edge of my seat with the heat and passion between the hero and heroin that took my breath away. These authors sure know how to keep the imagination flowing as they string their web of words to make up a story full of romance and passion between shifters and their fated mates. Two thumbs up!!

This was a fantastic anthology. Normally you get a few stories that you suffer through between the stories that you really enjoy. With this set there wasn't one book that I didn't enjoy. In fact, some I absolutely loved! Of course, I did still have my favourites, Particularly Can't Quit Lion. That had me laughing out loud, which can be a bit embarrassing sitting around the lunch table at work! If I had to find a criticism it's that I found some stories wrapped out too quickly for my liking. But overall, something I can see myself reading again & again.

This box set is a great collection of short stories, I haven’t read all of them yet but I am working on it. I have read Marissa Farrar’s story ‘Wolf Snatched’. Another great read by Marissa, I loved it, I was hooked from page one and didn’t want it to end, in fact I really hope she may bring us a full length follow up to this story fingers crossed!
I love Marissa Farrar her books are awesome and this short story is just as addictive as her full lengths novels.
I highly recommend this box set you will be pleased with what you find inside.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Great box set! Short stories so they are fast and easy to read. There were some new to me authors and this gave me an opportunity to check out their work. And some (Lynn Red) is a go-to author for me and her story was part of her Mating Call dating agency series – sort of. It was a cute tie-in and a funny, quirky story. Loved it! Lots of great stories for $.99; you can’t go wrong.

I found this set to be a mix of laugh out loud giggles and blood pumping, searing sexiness!!!!! Great mix of shifters types and genres. Each author has a different and very unique style and all their characters are engaging and endearing in their own way.
Each are little gems on their own and I'd gladly have paid the cash for each of them individually! I now a further collection of authors to go and wish list!!!

So many shifters!! Bear shifters, lion shifters, wolf shifters!! I loved these stories!! The two I lived the most are Wolf Snatch by Marissa Farrar about a wolf shifter who is kidnapped and Bear With Me by Dominique Eastwick about a park ranger who finds her bear shifter mate. I was introduced to new authors which is great!! This set of stories is worth the time to read. I received a copy of this book set for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this boxed set of short stories. These authors know how to write to entertain! The stories had it all - romance, humor, lust, love, great heroines and heroes, wonderful plots and good supports. I didn't skip any and loved them all! Well done!!! A must have for shifter lovers. I will definitely be checking out several of these authors that I had not heard of before. Highly recommend!!!

Nice collection of eleven different novels all by different authors. The stories are well done and don’t leave you hanging. Their are funny, entertaining, strong and sexy characters in these novels. I enjoy the inclusion of voluptuous ladies and how the men really enjoy them. There are several types of shifters written about in this collection too. Nice quick pace reading and enjoyable storylines.

Received the book for an honest review. When I saw that Lynn Red contributed to this box set I jumped at the opportunity to read it. Needless to say I am a big fan of Lynn's and her short story Can't Quit Lion is another awesome piece of work. With this box set I was introduced to many new PNR writers that I will most definitely seek out for future reads. This box set is a PNR lovers dream. You have love, romance, great stories and shifters. You will definitely not be disappointed.
