Rispetto ad altri fumetti del genere, l'ho trovato molto profondo, maturo e realistico. I protagonisti si avvicinano in maniera graduale, non ci sono scene esplicite buttate a caso o fatte solo per intrattenere, e quelle che ci sono non sono per nulla volgari. È completo nonostante sia una storia breve. I personaggi hanno carattere e sono ben costruiti, ci sono degli ottimi spunti di riflessione, ad esempio sul lavoro, e non mancano scene più frivole e simpatiche. All'inizio non ero molto convinta dei disegni ma mi sono ricreduta dopo poche pagine. Spero lo traducano presto in italiano perché l'ho adorato, è ad oggi uno dei miei yaoi preferiti!

This is, by far, my favourite manga by Scarlet Beriko. It's a bit sad that it's only a one shot because the depth of the story and the characters suffer a bit, as it is often the case. But basically it's about finding the strength to be youself and being able to letting other people, especially your partner, see the real you. And it's also about realising that you can rely on your partner to love you, even when you think you aren't perfect.
The relationship between Ohmi and Tetsuya felt comfortable, they both genuinely fell in love with each other and their dynamic felt nice.
I can see myself re-reading this one again, soon, because when I finished it I felt... content.

Me flipa T A N T Í S I M O el estilo de dibujo de Beriko. Es que me quedo medio anonadada con sus perfiles y sus ojos caídos es que no puedo más.
En esta historia me gusta principalmente como plasma las inseguridades de una pareja nueva e inexperta, en la que las dos partes quieren ser el punto de apoyo de la otra, pero a la vez no se permiten ser honestos para que el otro no se agobie. Es como una amalgama de sentimientos incongruentes pero está muy bien llevado y descrito. Y EL DIBUJO EN SERIO ES QUE ME MATA.
Ojalá vayan trayendo más de la obra de Scarlet Beriko porque vale muchísimo la pena.

เรื่องนี้ซื้อเพราะไถ่บาป ฮ่าๆ จริงๆ หลายๆ เรืองพอมีลขส. เราก็ซื้อเลยไถ่บาปสมัยก่อนที่เคยอ่านเถื่อนไว้ สมัยอ่านอิงค์ก็เฉยๆ แต่พอแปลไทยสนุกขึ้นแบบ 200% แล้วตัวเอกไทป์ลุงน่ารักมาก แบบเป็นลุงๆ ไม่หล่อนะแต่ นิสัยน่ารักๆ ส่วนอีกคนก็แบบลูกคุณหนูบ้านรวย เนื้อเรื่องเล่มเดียวจบ ไม่ดราม่าอะไรมาก สนุกกกกก

This was so unexpectedly gentle. One of those short stories that sneaks up on you and leaves you feeling kind of quiet inside, in a good way. There’s an age-gap, yeah, but it’s handled with so much softness and respect that it never once feels off. Their relationship feels rooted in care and mutual support more than anything else. It’s just... warm. Really warm.
What hit the most though was how personal some of the themes felt, like that quiet pressure to let go of dreams, that constant need to be useful to others while not knowing where you fit for yourself. The main character’s quiet lack of confidence, that familiar exhaustion, it all felt so real to me. But the way the story handles growth…not loud, not dramatic, just slow and full of kindness, was honestly comforting.
I wish there had been more, but at the same time, it ended in a way that felt right. Like something you’ll come back to when you need a reminder that it’s okay to be a work in progress❤️

I don't get the hype for this one, seriously. Everyone love her works but I found it overrated, and this is the third work of her that I found overrated. Sure her artworks is beautiful, but for a manga, you don't rely on artwork alone. Her storytelling and pacing are always a problem for me. Like this one too, I feel like there are several pages missing in chapter 1, like how the hell in the next page the cocky brat's feeling had a sudden turn, and so head over heels for the tailor? The pacing is off. The rest six chapters is like a second volume of chapter 1. Trying so hard to be sophisticated but the translation ruined the sophisticated feeling.
I don't feel the love between them too, so many 'telling' than 'showing' (this is ironic you know, in manga medium), even when they said the three words, feels empty. I don't even know why the tailor loves the brat, he gives that vibe that anyone is okay for him.
Judging from her other works, it seems to me the mangaka has been trying really hard to be a unique mangaka by deviates from the standard seme uke rule in yaoi (you know the silly rule, the manlier/taller gets to top the less manlier/shorter one), not that I hate it when the usual rules don't apply in this book (I actually would love it more if they are seke/reversible, this silly rule about the less manlier/shorter/smaller dick being the receiver doesn't apply in RL actually), but it's something that I couldn't help but notice it as a way to be different than the rest. Honestly, it just feels so contrived when almost all the characters in her books has reverse role from the usual dynamic, what I mean here is it'd be good if she has varieties in her books : the usual dynamic, the unusual one, and then obviously some versatile/reversible couple too.
I'd appreciate more seke in yaoi, because it's like seke is endangered type in yaoi, don't know why, lol. And also, lately I just realized some fujoshi can't accept these types : the reversible and the reverse type (the feminine one being top and the manlier being bottom). The very example of this is when some fujoshi had a verbal cat fight on Instagram over one character being top/bottom, they couldn't picture/accept the idea of reverse. Meanwhile, I was laughing while watching them arguing heatedly over who is suitable more to be 'a woman', like girls, what the hell is wrong with reversible role? Somehow it's kinda sexism to put the 'woman' role in gay relationship, not everything has to be man x woman. Bottoming doesn't mean the one being bottom is more 'woman' even if he looks androgynous (his role in bed doesn't define his masculinity), and doesn't mean they will be bottom forever (while in RL some of them love being bottom forever, but some are not), and doesn't mean they are weaker/less manlier or what.
Actually I think reversible role is a beautiful thing when they make love, you can be the giver (of love) and the receiver (of love). While it feels great to be the one accepting all the attention and love and care and touches from your partner, it'll also feel great or even more to be the one giving all the love and care and touches your partner, to see the happy and sated look on your partner because of you. It should work both ways, right?

Posiblemente uno de los mejores tomos que he leído nunca. Es justo lo que buscaba, algo romanticón, ligero pero que aun así tenga una trama, una historia que contar.
Adoro a todos los personajes, a todos. No sé, me ha encantado, me ha parecido fantástico. Ojalá más contenido de ellos dos.

Hace unas semanas compré Queen and the Tailor, una de las últimas novedades de Milky y me encantó.

Es un tomo único por lo que la historia no tiene mucho contenido y es corta, pero sus personajes lo compensan con creces. Oumi es un decorador de interiores que está pasando una mala racha, bloqueado en el trabajo, por lo que su jefa le aconseja que se pase por la sastrería Shida para que le hagan un traje a medida, ya que dicen que quien lleva un traje creado allí conseguirá el éxito. Pero no todo va como las rosas y Oumi y Tetsuya chocan desde el principio.

Me ha gustado mucho la historia porque hay una evolución en la relación (que al ser un tomo único pues va un poco rápido en capítulos pero no en el tiempo), los protagonistas pasan de chocar entre ellos, a llevarse bien e incluso crear cierta confianza entre ellos, con algún altibajo.

Oumi es mi favorito, es muy cuqui y aunque va de superior se le ve que le falta confianza y quiere valerse por si mismo. Tetsuya también parece el adulto de la relación, pero poco a poco descubre que a veces está bien pedir y querer más, mostrarse débil ante los demás.

Es un BL que recomiendo y que se lee muy rápido, además es estilo de dibujo de Scarlet es precioso.

Cómo echaba de menos un manga con protas más adultos.
Un 4 de 5 porque la historia en realidad es super sencilla. Que no es malo, pero llevo una racha de leer historias más profundas que ahora, tras haberlo pensado con claridad, pues me ha sabido a menos. Aunque he de decir que los personajes son muy completos y tienen muy buena química. La edición de Milky Way como siempre preciosa. Hay algunas viñetas que son puro arte, Scarlet Beriko es una maestra y estoy deseando leer más de ella, porque creo que me he aficionado a sus dinámicas de personajes.
Ojalá en un futuro veamos más sobre Oumi y Tetsuya.
(¿¿¿Lo de los nombres de los protagonistas??? Arte. Me encanta cómo se pueden jugar con los nombres japoneses y su construcción mediante los kanjis)

I decided to check this manga out since I'm already on a Scarlet Beriko manga spree and I'm so glad I read it.
Compared to their other stories (Yondaime, Jackass, Minori no te), this one was pretty tame. The artstyle is calmer and cuter, the couple feels more mature, and the focus seems to be their jobs and them as imperfect people. I'm really sad it was so short and wish there'd been some extras at the end where I could see them being cute dorks

Cómo escribir una buena relación en pocas páginas con un dibujo bellísimo.
He tardado mucho en hacer esta review y es el momento de volcar todo mi amor en ella, espero que de una manera breve para que os vayáis rápido a leerla.
Leo pocos mangas autoconclusivos porque suele faltarme desarrollo. No creo que que haya espacio en tan pocas páginas para desarrollar bien historia y personajes en una obra gráfica, muchas veces una de las dos cosas falla. Y en cambio aquí tengo que callarme y disfrutarlo.
Propone un escenario rápidamente, con los detalles necesarios para saber en qué situación se encuentra cada personaje, un punto positivo porque no pierde tiempo pero tampoco sentido. Al lector le quedan claras las intenciones de cada personaje y sus sentimientos, es un intercambio de información directo así que nos da margen para disfrutar de su evolución y de la historia.
Apartándome a un sendero de fangirleo, yo tengo un problema con este tipo de personajes y es que los amo. También me he leído este manga junto a una amiga, hacía tiempo que lo teníamos pendiente y haberlo comentado a tiempo real ha elevado nuestro amor por ello.
Los dos personajes principales tienen personalidades atractivas, se complementan a la perfección el uno al otro y se trata la relación de manera cuidadosa y consentida incluyendo los altibajos que la hacen real. Se trata de una pareja con un age gap medio, no es algo que suela gustarme porque muchos autores los escriben desde el morbo, aquí aceptamos la delicadeza con la que trata el tema.
¿Te apetece leer un BL entretenido, con su dosis de humor y personajes destacables que se tratan con cariño? Ya tienes lectura.

Me ha encantado. 20/10. Qué maravilla! Qué suave, qué tierno! El age gap muy bien llevado, el carácter del protagonista es adorable en lugar de insportable, el sastre es guapérrimo, hablan un montón entre ellos cuanto más avanza la trama, las escenas +18 son delicadas y eróticas y comunicativas, las confusiones tiernas, los personajes memorables y pienso releerlo en cuanto mi pila de pendientes baje porque me ha dejado el corazón tan calentito...

Los protas son un amor y se les coge mucho cariño a ambos

Me ha parecido muy bonico y divertido. El tema de la hermana un poco metido con calzador, pero ha sido divertido. Me gusta como la autora muestra la evolución de los personajes. Los dos cambian por si mismos, abriéndose a los demás y adaptándose a la pareja para hacer que la relación funcione.

El arte de Scarlet me encanta!!
Esta historia es muy linda, quizás sea una trama un poco sencilla pero eso no le quita nada .
Me gustan este tipo de parejas con un age gap pero que al final terminan complementándose.

Finalmente terminado 🙌🏼 Me gustó la relación de los protas aaaaaunque para mi gusto se sintió muy cortita la obra y no me encariñé del todo con los personajes. Eso sí el uke es de esos señores que envejecen como el vino 🍷 muy muy bien jajajaja

Me gustó! Aunque a veces uno de los personajes te dan ganas de sacudirlo para gritarle: Madura! Pero los dibujos son muy bonitos y la trama me gustó.
