Cats Gone Bad
The cat that terrorized its owners so badly they had to call the police to rescue them, the obsessive compulsive kitty who stole matching shoes, the stowaway moggy who flew all the way to Disneyworld--these are just three of the 45 bizarre but true stories about our feline friends in Cats Gone Bad.
Included are the cat that chased a bear up a tree, the cat that attacked the woman using a "talk to your cat" app, the cat that pushed another cat into a swimming pool (but got its just desserts), and the cat who forced a dog to go on walks. Yes, furr real.
From peeping toms to vicious tabbys to costly Turkish Vans, Cats Gone Bad celebrates curious felines the world over.

Read this at the vet while waiting for my cats to have tests. It’s basically a collection of stories about cats culled from social media, with photos of similar cats. Cute and funny.

A little book of humor containing excerpts from the news and description of videos from the internet about the crazy antics of some cats. It also includes some interesting trivia concerning cats. The photos of the cats accompanying each article were cute.

Cats and humans being weird stories, basic internet/photo shop pics, and puns. Could be way more entertaining than it is.

Not what I thought it was going to be. A couple interesting stories. A couple of cute pictures. But a lot of stuff that was mediocre or unenjoyable as well.

This is a funny, funny book about cats, for people who love cats. "It celebrates 45 true tales of fierce, fraudulent, and frankly, catty cats". All of the things that the cats do in this book are true, and you really don't question their actions if you really know cats.
For instance, both domestic and feral cats, kill between 1.4 billion and 3.7 billion birds a year in the U.S., according to the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Washington, D.C. Then there's Garry, who was taken to the vet for a routine visit. The vet found a large mass and suspected a tumor. Actually, Garry had eaten numerous shoelaces and hair bands. He recovered just fine after the surgery to remove them.
Jack, a tabby, came face-to-face with a black bear in his yard. Even though Jack is clawless, he chased the bear up a tree and kept it hanging on to the tree branches for 15 minutes before his owner took him inside, and the bear was able to slink away.
It's a great, fun book that can be read over and over again.

Some of these were cute, some of them weren’t that interesting, and a couple were concerning and made me think the owner probably abused their animal. (Don’t kick your cats, kids, even if they do scratch your child. Maybe don’t have a cat if you can’t keep it and the baby separate and safe).
Got a few chuckles and read the good ones to my mom, which made her happy.

I thought some of the cats would have had more interesting stories, but most were good. A few of the cats appeared on different pages in different outfits; I thought there would be a different cat for each story. Most cats were adorable except one of the repeats with a smooshed face (sorry, kitty). Overall, cute with some fun facts.
