Wow

Where have you been?! I've been reading fantasy since the beginning of the year and I didn't see this! I'm glad I finally found and read it. I look forward for the third. So in love with this author right now. The action was great, the writing, to me at least, perfect. There was no elementary school writing in this book. I like the way the hero still has a conscious despite the power he now has. I really recommend this book to everyone!

Amazing world building and lore! I love the development and growth of our main character, Ghile. The book starts off right were book one ended with a dive into the thoughts of our evil dwarven overlords, who many not be as evil as we were lead to believe! Everything happens for a reason and everything is remembered through the haze of time. Time of the Stonechosen does an amazing job leading the reader through a journey of history, magic, and adventure. With even a little love as our hero's figh ...more

Excellent epic fantasy!

This second book of the Stonchosen series is just as amazing as the first. The characters are well written and evolve as the story plays out. The descriptive locations and dialogue are rich with imagery. I would compare this series with the works of Anne McCaffrey, Terry Brooks, Terry Goodkind, and David Eddings. All amazing writers who created legendary works, as I believe this series will become as well. Can't wait for the next book!

Impressive Second Installment

While I really liked the first book, this second in the series is even better and has made me a true fan. I was particularly I impressed with the nuances of characters (old and new) and the original twists in the mythology that directly impact our heroes. Looking forward to Book 3.

At the age of thirteen Thomas read his first novel, Dune, by Frank Herbert. That was the spark that ignited his passion for reading. It was the popular fantasy Dragonlance novels by Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weis which cemented his love of fantasy.
